Hotel Elba am Kurfürstendamm - Design Chambers

Very central, at a great location. High ceilings that make the rooms feel spacious. Good WiFi. Amazing breakfast buffet in a great room and with access to a quiet green cozy backyard. Very friendly staff.

Rooms might get hot in summer. The bathroom was a bit small for tall people - especially the door. Parking is difficult in the area and expensive, if not on Sunday. The street can be noisy at night, when the expensive cars race along Kudamm.

I love the antique furniture as part of the decor, the beautiful real flowers in vases, the candles as part of the deco. The breakfast can also be taken in the pretty outdoor garden area, very Berlin and home feel.

The lobby was shut down early in the evening because they had no night staff the elevated jolted at every floor and you could not get to your room without the lights going off and struggling to find a button on the wall to turn the back ononly one staff member who sat in an office manage the property. One was kind the other stern and abrasive. no air-conditioning and no screens on the windows. A good fan was provided, but the the week we were in Birlin was very hot.

Great location! Nearby many restaurants and shops! Room was very clean! There were body lotion and shower cap in the room which was considerate. Our room has a lovely terrace. Nice!

Since we visited in May, the weather is comfortable there. However, the room has no air conditioning and refrigerator.

Great location just off Ku'damm. The breakfast was very good and the breakfast room very nice. The garden would be great in warm weather

The guest room corridors were quite run down, the room itself was ok, with a balcony, quiet and a relatively new bathroom, but there was an unpleasant smell

The location it was very nice both for airport and for the center of Berlin! Also there was a variety of stores and restaurants.Moreover, the staff was very polite and our room was very clean.

Friendly staff, great facilities, the location is amazing with lots of restaurants, cafés and bars around.

Nothing really important though I'd enjoy a second chair and a table to share.

The location was central and the room service did a great job everyday. The amentities in the room were good and the hotel was well kept.

Although the receptionist that took us in on the first day was warm and welcoming, the others could have much better hospitality training. The lift is quite shaky and should be looked into.Furthermore, the room rate given could also offer a very basic continental breakfast.

It’s a very calm area. Very good breakfast and feeling like in home and not in a hotel. Many things to explore and quite easy to work to the city center of Berlin

The check in bit complicated since the reception closes at 8 pm but they don’t tell you at the booking. So for late check in expect to go to the hotel in front to get the keys and no one will be there to help if you need anything or support for the luggage

Close to center and easy to find. Restaurants are fpwn stairs as well ?

The room is small but there was everything I needed for a 2-night stay. A few steps away from the Ku'dam straße.

I strongly recommend that future guests inspect the room thoroughly upon arrival, take pictures, and report any pre-existing issues to the management to avoid similar situations (at the check-out I was requested to pay a 50eur fine for a spot on the chair fabric). I discovered this only during checkout, when I was in a hurry and unable to properly address it. Additionally, the cleaning staff moved my belongings without permission, which I found intrusive and unnecessary since I was only there for a short time and did not request room service. Now, I actually suspect that the spot on the chair could have been an error by the cleaning staff or, worse, a deliberate ploy by the property.While the property itself was otherwise fine, this incident left a very bad impression, and I would not stay here again.

I really liked the old architecture of this hotel, the tranquility, the cleanliness, and the friendly hospitality. In the room, we were able to watch the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games on TV attached on the wall, which was great! The bed was very firm and comfortable. The room was cleaned every day. It's near to bus stops.

Since we didn't have breakfast, we weren't allowed to use the beautiful lounge for reading or occasional video calls outside of breakfast hours. So I went out to the terrace with my notebook. But access to the terrace was also limited. I had to move while the video call, which was a shame.

Surly miserable receptionist. Poor value for money breakfast 19€ for €10 value, erratic room cleaning, lack of fridge, glasses not replaced or cleaned, seats extremely uncomfortable, bizarre method to access room at night via an external room and stairs.

- not clean enough bathroom, there was bunch of hair stuck in a fan right on top of it - hard not to see- dark room, the sitting area had little natural light access, not cozy- there was kettle and cups held in a drawer - old and not clean- there was hait in the sheets, duvet of weird size- rude staff: staff lady welcomed me very rudely for absolutely no reason, she even didn't answered hello. she looked snobbish and gave attitude like I'm a piece of sh. then she took my bank card out of my hands and started copying data, private code included, when I hesitated about the reason and manner she was rude againIn the morning there was another lady, and she also was unfriendly and same vibe

The hotel is in a great location, just minutes from Kudamm. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our room had a good size, was clean and comfy. The bed was a bit too hard for my liking, but the staff brought a mattress topper up straight away. We'd definitely stay again.

Something seems to be wrong with the pipes in the bathroom because at times there was a sewage smell that only went away when you turned on the shower.

Staff who received us was lovely, really enjoyed my stay here, super simple to get too, if you have a lot of luggage maybe take an Uber, it wasn’t a long walk but it also wasn’t super short. Maybe 10 mins. But felt like 30 with the luggage. Room was huge and very spacious. Bathroom was decently sized. They may not have had air con but they had the most amazing turbo fan that I didn’t really mind not having air con.

Doesn’t have a fridge, I didn’t check when I booked the room if it had a fridge or not. And it does not but I still really enjoyed my stay.
