    Pros +

    • The terrace and room size was exactly what we were expecting. It was a little different from any where we have stayed before and it was fun.
    • Have been here 2 years ago and had totally different experience. Really liked the hotel and still like it but, this time experience was totally different. Room was not clean, I asked for the robe and got it after 2 days.
    • The Decor was nice in the room.

    Cons -

    • I paid extra to have a whirlpool in our room but it only had a shower. The shower flooded because the drain had hair clogging it.
    • No attention, asked for the robe for 2 days straight and got it after that. Whenever I tried to upgrade the room, they told me to come and check again tomorrow. They have the system and can check if other rooms will be free so, she could tell me what could be available.
    • The lounge/bar was closed both days which was extremelywe were there and there weren't many options near by. The location is pretty isolated. The front desk at check in was not very friendly, even though our room wasn't ready and we were told they would contact us when it was. They never contacted us and then weren't very accomadating when we came back and finally got our room at 430. The shower head also sprayed everywhere.

Love the decor! Love the person at the check in. Great breakfast and lounge

Our room was pretty noisy I could hear people walking up and down the stairs and noises from person walking in the room above #11

Rooms are themed to Berlin's edgy past and tastefully decorated. Bed nice but not great, although pillows exceptionally fluffy. Showers are like waterfalls!Service in the adjoining restaurant was 10/10 - breakfast absolutely fantastic, with a choice between different combination platters, all sizeable and very well composed.

The hotel had recently changed systems, and my 2+3 days reservation had been split into two individual reservations rather than kept together as I request - resulting in us having to move to a different room after two days. On the other hand I got a somewhat bigger room overall so I'd say this listened to my complaint. Eventually.

The hotel is full of personality and charm, conveniently located right in front of a subway station, the beds are great and the room is very comfortable. The staff was also very nice!

A bit far from the downtown area, the rooms didn't have tables that could be used as support for a computer and the bathrooms are made of glass, meaning that someone laying on the bed could look at you in there.

    It's quite sexy hotel

It smelled a little old, but to be honest, with all the Velvet and velour, the smell felt really suiting and fitted with the hotel..Install a chrome cast, or upgrade TV, non Germans hates you TV channels options.Your appel TV and miracast was blocked for streaming

A nice surprising video installation in the room (when you turn on the Provocateur Mode). Nice breakfast.

The room was extremely small with no drawer and literally no place to place the bag. The hotel in general is classy, but seems a bit old.

Very distinctive style of concept and interior. Suppose it’s especially good for couples. We had the superior suite and there is a provocateur mode switching on some music and some visual arts. There is a very good bar ground level and a restaurant run by an infamous Berlin chef. So yes, it’s superb.

There is always room for improvement, so next time we would appreciate the elevator functioning / bringing us to our floor. And I think it was the curtains, but there was a bit musty textile odor hanging in the room.

The stuff is very friendly, but wasn’t able to help me with slippers, which were missing in the room during my stay.

Missing slippers, duvets were missing as well.

The overall approach of being a Design, type-of-young-modern hotel with a very unique, stylish interior is fine...and that was the reason, why I booked it.

    - Club music until 2.00 o'clock is the morning is unacceptable - the receptionist warned us, while we were checking in - but there was no other option than to stay - the loud club music does not work at all with the overall hotel concept- some minor things were missing such as paper/cosmetic tissues in the bathrooms - no slippers could be found - no table in the room - meaning you could not order anything to eat, unless you want to eat in the bed.- breakfast was way too expensive for what it is. In 5 star hotels the price is around 25 - 30 € but buffet, from which you can take as much as you want - € 25,-- for a scrumbled egg, two toasts, a waffle, coffee and juice is ridiculous.Sorry for being so open - but as a frequent traveller - I spend half of the year in nice 4 and 5 star hotels ....and Hotel Provocateur is far away from this quality level

The hotel theme and the reason it exists is wonderful. I had a great time there. Big mirror on top of the bed is top. There was coffee in the room, two capsules, it was nice. We also enjoyed the Marshall Bluetooth audio box. And the shower in the bathroom is great.

I have asked for the red room, but got the blue one. Wasn't disappointed though, there was a big mirror. There's no electrical tea kettle in the room, I had to ask for it. Bed was clean and fresh, but I have seen a spot on the blanket, so it was old and needs to be replaced.

Hotel has loads of character, and is a bit quirky. It is located very close; 50m, to the north exit of Kanstanzerstrasse u bahn station. And a few minutes walk from the kurfurstendamme main street, so a good location for getting around. We had a deluxe room with a wonderful freestanding bath in the room as well as a shower. And a huge bed! Other reviewers have said the hotel was noisy but our room on the 4th floor was quiet.. Hotel has a trendy bar, although this wasn't busy on our stay which was during the week.

The shower in our room is in need of some maintenance, as it sprayed water in all directions! Also it was very dusty on top of the shower head. The pillows were too soft, and although there was a coffee maker and well stocked minibar there was no kettle for tea making. I felt that the breakfast was a bit limited in choice and quite expensive. Even though this is not a budget hotel, I think this was not good value for money at 25 euros each.

    - very delicious breakfast and surprisingly good cappuccino- clean and modern bathroom

Room is pretty small but for 1 person is enough space. Bathroom pretty big with nice, wide shower and window. Nice selection in minibar. Staff absolutely fantastic. Very helpful with any queries.

Room has no wardrobe. For a business trip like i had (6 nights) was a bit difficult to keep all clothes in a bag or chair.Breakfast from menu card was very tasty but during busy time waiting was a bit to long.

This hotel is an experience, its different, romantic and sexy. The decor is burlesque in style with some quirky extras in the rooms. It's a fun experience to enjoy with your partner on holiday. The breakfast was another level of WOW! Order off menu and tantalizing delightful. The restaurant is apparently one of "The best" in Berlin may need advanced booking, closed the nights we were there.

    Sadly restaurant closed.

Greta location. Amazing breakfast and food. Lovely staff very helpful. Rooms are clean.

Didn’t provide an invoice that matches the amount payed to booking.com That is a big problem for professional trips that needs to be solved with booking.comI don’t see the point of using booking.com if the amount I am paying is higher than the one I would pay contacting directly the hotel. I still wait for the invoice of booking.com for that trip.

The combination of the room’s decoration, bed’s comforter and temperature was impeccable. Also the whole property was very cozy and as the name suggests “ provocative”The lady at the reception “Kiki” was also very helpful upon our check in...

The decoration is very cool and chic and is so close to Kdam and the shops - loved the welcome champagne
