Pros +
- The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. The room rate that I was given was quite fair.
- Cleaning hadn't been done yet and when it was done it was in front of us and the mattress was all dirty and tire
- The room was very dirty and the bugs made the room not clean. The staff is not good and I don't feel their service, there is no hot water or coffee.and no kettle
Cons -
- The entire way from the underground parking lot to the actual room feels a bit shady, you can tell that homeless people try to sleep there. As a woman I felt as if I needed to look over my shoulder from time to time, not because anyone else was there but because the overall environment didn't feel or seem safe. Near the entrance of the underground parking lot, there are special lots for women. I suppose so they can exit fast in case of danger. I would have actually liked to be assigned one.Once I entered the room, which looked quite outdated, the WiFi didn't seem to be working. However, the receptionist happily brought me a new code. I'm personally not so fond of this particular system as you can only connect one device to it. You will require a code for each new device. The codes also expire after a day or so.The room itself was clean but it had some defects. Not all of the bedside lamps seemed to be working, the curtains didn't seem to be clean and I noticed some cracks in the mirrors near the bed, if I recall correctly. You can notice that the overall interior is quite worn out.During my stay, the usual receptionist floor was inaccessible due to renovations, so hopefully the entire hotel will get a proper update.Even though my reservation was quite cheap, I didn't like the general atmosphere in the hotel. I found it a bit eerie which impacted my experience the most.

Cleaning hadn't been done yet and when it was done it was in front of us and the mattress was all dirty and tire
The room was very dirty and the bugs made the room not clean. The staff is not good and I don't feel their service, there is no hot water or coffee.and no kettle
Location
The location was very good. A lot of amenities around. The staff were nice and friendly. The room was clean and tidy. Only thing is that the TV was working. Overall I will stay here again ?
Everything was good.
Very friendly personnel, approaching to each customer individually. Very clean and comfortable rooms.
Very poor
the room was not clean enough at night there was very loud music in the area and noise in the corridor
Price
The room had windows inside a shopping center (no sun entering the room). The shopping center has a huge playground for kids and their noises can be heard all the time. Additionally, the shopping center was playing loud music even after midnight. The WC and shower were not cleaned properly
The neighbourhood wher the hotel is situated is very friendly and has all the facilities - metro station at 600 m, restaurants open all night, convenience store open until 10 p.m., a nice plaza. The hotel itself is located at the second floor of a cinema complex. Underground parking for a fee is available and convenient. The room we booked was reasonable and pleasant. Cleaning stuff was helpful. The room was spatious and clean.
Although on Booking they say "pay at the property", a deposit of 150 EUR was taken from my card before arrival, and although the hosts promised to return it after checkout, 5 days later it was not returned. I have travelled to other properties that say "pay at the property" and I was never asked to pay in advance - in fact, there are places where you can only reserve if you pay in advance. They should clearly specify whether they require a deposit, and if this is the case, when the deposit will be returned. I would have not reserved the room if I was aware of this condition.
The hotel is close to the subway
There were unidentifiable substances smeared across the wall and there was mould in the refrigerator.
Central location close to the station.Lively bars and restaurants in the area, walking down to the river.World class museums in easy walking distance.Koln cathedral nearby.Superb breakfast.
Difficult to find the primary entrance and the lift upon first arrival. After hours, access via the rear entrance. (Not really a problem.)
That they have towels
We did not like the way the welcome was given, it was somewhat confusing and unfriendlyThe space was difficult to locateThe cleanliness was somewhat questionableThe smell when entering the room was somewhat strange and unpleasant
Not a bad place for a short stay.Stayed for an one night.
What i did not like that almost a lot of power outlets or circuit breaker didn't work. The tv in the was broken(LCD damage). In my friend's room was the same except tv wasn't broken just didn't work at all.
The bed was OK.
There was only one lille light in the room. The ones beside the bed didn't work. There was only one electrical outlet in the room that worked. The others didn't work. The receptionist was not so gentle. The light in the bathroom didn't work either, but hopefully it could be fixed in time. The room was booked for 2 persons and there was only bedsheets for 1 person ( hopefully it could also be fixed in time). The support that keeps the shower up was also broken.
I can't tell you about breakfast, there were no place to eatNor were there dinnerNor lunchThe best about the hotel wasWe left next morningIt is one place we will NEVER come back to
You had to push both up up AND down button to get the elevator to workThe system to make room keys didn't work so I got NO room keysIf you went out after 21.00 you had to go to a special room to get someone to open your room for youYou have to be good at German, (I know it is in Berlin, but it is a international hotel) because if not, you will have a difficult time to understand anything
There were ticks, it was dirty, the person that was at night was drunk, they didn’t give us a solution, bad experience
The bed.
The TV was not working and the fan was not working.
Very bad
Place was so dirty and gross that we decided to leave one day earlier to not stay in this bad condition.Very expensive parking
It's literally a hell
The rooms are not much ventilated. The fans were missing in two rooms out of three we booked. When asked at reception they didn't respond. It was way too hot. It was burning inside the room. Couldn't wait to check out from this place will never stay again ever. Absolute waste of money. I wonder why booking listed this place in the website.
Location was good, very central, many shops and restaurants around and close to the subway. Bed was comfortable. The windows could be opened fully, which i find very important for fresh air always. The staff was easy going and the bathroom and shower nicely big.
Location and staff
The shower had no holder for the shower head. I was told there wasn't one. Carpets and walls had marks on them, light by the bed was hanging off .
