    Pros +

    • Great location and a very walkable district
    • Location was excellent. Plenty to do in the neighborhood. Lots of restaurants and bars within a block or two. I quiet block in a vibrant neighborhood giving a guest the best of both worlds.
    • Very nice little hotel in excellent location in the heart of the queer district in Berlin (which I didn't know), very close to West Side attractions. Subway station at walking distance. Breakfast buffet is a bit expensive but very welcome after arriving early in the morning from clubs!

    Cons -

    • Restaurant is very expensive for a moderate price hotel. Heating is good but overly complicated
    • The cleaning person walked into my room without knocking or announcing themselves. I screamed at them out of shock. The breakfast was OK but not consistent quality. There wasn't enough sunlight in my room because the window was small and at a weird angle.

great beds, very nice breakfast, the pictures are accurate, nice warm temperature in the rooms, it is easy to locate it ...

The only thing would be - they charge 1,5 eur per pice of luggage to store them...why do it?

    Convenient location and clean rooms.

There was no bar fridge in the room, unlike on previous stays.

    Pleasant

it was impossible to sleep in room 603 due to a relentless buzzing - humming noise behind the bed created by the hotel heating, which peaked in evening/night hours. A monotonous, unrelenting hum that verged on psychological nocturnal torment, wearing down one’s sanity through the night. The hotel was informed - each day - and the last night offered to change room

The front desk staff were extremely helpful on Sunday evening.Far above other hotels in their over and above service. And the room was heated.

Very clean, friendly staff, good location for gay travellers and near the metro. A few shops nearby for food and drinks

Breakfast was a little expensive compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in. But it was ok.

Price was reasonable and property was clean. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Despite nice presentation of the breakfast buffet, and pleasant staff, unfortunately I had several food poisoning on the first day. Communal ironing board.

I generally give 10 in a review rating if the accommodation actually has the facilities described in the room. Hence it is really important to look at what each accommodation is offering and decide for yourself if this is what you are after. Not the fact that I have rated the accommodation 10. I am not looking for 5 star luxury either. When I travel for holidays I am looking for really basic amenities.Front desk were extremely helpful. Location was good for me as I enjoyed a 20 minute walk to the S-Bahn or you could take a bus if you preferred. I bought a Berlin Welcome Card for travel purposes due to the length of time I was staying in Berlin. This option may not suit everyone for public transport.

Very clean room with all necessary equipment. Was upgraded into a bigger room. Very pleasant staff at the reception.

The location & some of the staff.

Asked for a full bed, got 2 twin beds stuck together. Asked for hypoallergenic bedding, very allergic to feathers. They said they would accommodate that, after waking up sick, i found they didnt, the pillows were down. The room was tiny & looked run down. If you want your room cleaned during your stay it was an extra charge. For almost $1000 for 3 nights, I expected better.

    Location great. Clean. Nice staff.

Room a little dated. One proper bedside table and another that seemed to be an adjustable bed-table from a hospital which felt very out of place in the room. The space for a fridge didn’t have a fridge in it so was just an empty cupboard.

    10TheodorePosted on: 9-22-2025

Perfect location in the heart of the Gay district but away from all the noisy clubs. The staff are friendly and always helpful.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The building has a pleasant decor and is located close to Nollendorfplatz station. There are a number of bars and restaurants in the area, although I would advise potential guests to research the area and determine if the neighbourhood suits their personal needs. I found the bed very comfortable and breakfast had a good variety of food to suit most tastes. The shower provided excellent hot water flow.

Whilst the building is generally well kept, there are signs that more effort needs to be put into maintenance. No big problems, but little things like my toilet flush mechanism was rather temperamental and there seemed to be moisture penetration under my window. Also, the electronic lock on the front door to the building failed and guests had to ring for reception staff to open the door. The rooms are also a little on the small side but the bathrooms, whilst also small, are designed to function very well. I found the room rate was a little high compared with that of other German hotels I stayed at around that time.

It was a pleasant stay with helpful staff

Room wasn't that clean quite dusty, I wrongly looked under the bed as I dropped a phone and it was awful under there.
