HENRI Hotel Berlin

Very chic and fun hotel! Hotel was centrally located to the shopping mall and to the Berlin nightlife.

Quiet room, good location, bed comfortable

Hot Breakfast is limited, TV small

Old school feel, quaint and authentic, good breakfast, even though staff was nice they werent very accomodating when I asked about the upgrade I thought I had from Booking

Room was too small so had to upgrade it. I thought I had an upgrade from Booking.com but when I arrived I had the basic room so had to pay extra as i couldnt fit my stuff in the original room

The perfect Home away from Home!!! The whole hotels feels so familiar and cozy like the home you would always like to live in. Meeting staff also feels like meeting family.The breakfast is nice, and they offer some food and small dishes to be picked up in the breakfast area all day long.Not the most luxurious hotel in Berlin, not the most elegant, not the biggest hotel, not the largest rooms, not hip among celebrities but exactly the kind of hotel which makes you feel very pleasant and if you enter the building it feels like coming home. My favorite hotel in Berlin!

Cute but very old and worn down

Very loud at night and bathroom doors did not close fully.

Location

I had asked for a room not viewing the backyard and that is what I had. Room was very small and I duvet i got on my bed was for a single bed. A kind of too small to somebody that is 175 cm. high and 90 kg. weight.Room had no closet.

The decor

The staff they weren’t attentive I felt isolated

Very charming, typical building style property. Meticulously furnished. Beautiful breakfast and lounge room that is open and accommodating all day.

Perfect location, top-quality breakfasts, music, service, and atmosphere — everything is outstanding. My favorite hotel in Berlin!

I stay at this hotel regularly and would like to thank all the staff for the fantastic service and attitude! I have a small request: the ceilings are very high, so the heat rises upward. It would be great to increase the heating or place a heater in the shower room. The temperature in the bedroom is perfect, but in the bathroom it’s cold to take a shower because of the high ceilings and a draft from the window.

Style of hotel - decorative. And staff very willing to help. Breakfast suited me -lots of variety but very ‘continental’ My husband was less impressed with the buffet style.

Great unique place in an old building. Cozy atmosphere far from the average cold and uniform hotels that you normally find in a metropole like Berlin.

Breakfast was the best by far! The staff was also quite helpful and pleasant. Our room was upgraded and Housekeeping worked every day to make our room nice and clean.

The pillows were limp.

Loved the atmosphere, the old wooden floors ant the cute self service bar. There were at least three very hight rated restaurants in the same street.

A little crowded breakfast. The coffee machine was a little tricky.

a truly nicely kept old fashioned hotel - decorated like in the 20ies....with a wonderful breakfast buffet set up in an old kitchen..

Shower wasn’t great

Lovely atmosphere and historical decor, delicious breakfast and Abendbrot, very friendly and efficient staff.

- The decor and furniture in the rooms and downstairs lounge area and at the reception desk- The 24 hour reception, option to leave your room key when going out at any time, and the ability to leave luggage- The cleanliness- The free bottled water in the room each day- The easy check-in process

- My room was left unlocked by a cleaner one one of the three days- The area isn't the most exciting in Berlin although there were nice restaurants on the street- I had been told I was getting a large double bed but was assigned a room with twin beds- The door wasn't always answered promptly after ringing the bell

HENRI hotel was just what I was hoping it would be when I was booking my stay there and looking at its pictures. It is in a lovely area and for those who are fond of older buildings and interior, it makes for the perfect base, while exploring Berlin.Yes, the floors are creaky and you will probably be hearing when your neighbors above are walking around, going in and out, but, honestly, this was not an issue for me, as it’s part of the building’s charm and the guests were not loud or disrespectful.The bed was very comfortable, the room was nicely decorated, the shower had really strong water pressure and I liked that the underfloor heating there worked in a way that it heats up for some time only, so there is no way to keep it permanently on - I thought that was sustainable and smart.Staff were lovely too.Another good plus is that the place provides snacks, water, food, coffee in their kitchen area that guests can pick up at any time during the day or night and with reasonable prices.

I have ciliac and i had mentioned earlier only i need gluten free bread for breakfast and they would could n give 2 breads and some days breads werent avaiable at all

Lovely well located hotel with character. Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast and nice light supper options. Comfortable space downstairs to relax. Would definitely stay here again.
