Nicely decorated large rooms with great facilities and service. The shower was powerful, the beds comfortable, and the staff impeccable (Tom in the bar what a fab guy) the location is in walking distance of the sites of Berlin. Highly recommend hotel for a good value.

The only small thing I would say is the size and quality of the bath towels

Great location, easy access to lots of public transport. Nice big room and friendly staff.

The room didn’t have a mirror, only in the bathroom, which wasn’t practical at times. Housekeeping didn’t remove rubbish overnight which was a surprise given the service everywhere else in the hotel.

small incident with the staff - housekeeping - didn't like something and inform the front desk. When we got back to the room, it was locked and we couldn't go in...( kind of punishment ) we had to go to the front desk to reactivate the keys. not ok.

Our room was located in the corner, with a window to the inner hall of the hotel. so there wasnt enough light and it felt dark and poorly ventilated

My stay was extremely disappointing due to a major lack of transparency. The hotel has no elevator, an absolute absurdity that was only disclosed to us after check-in. We were forced to carry our heavy luggage up several flights of stairs ourselves and had to use the stairs for our entire stay. This was physically exhausting and completely unacceptable for a modern hotel. I would not recommend staying here if you value basic comfort and honesty.

Nothing! The lifts were under repairs while we were there, they offered to take our bags up, clearly explained what was happening and why - they turned something a little frustrating into a really positive experience!

Excellent location, central but quiet side road. Lovely decor, very clean. Nice bar/seating areas. Shout out to Kyra and Tom, bar staff who were super helpful, friendly and accommodating.

There was an issue with housekeeping for the first few days in that the room wasn’t properly replenished (robes, slippers, coffee/tea) it was eventually sorted but I felt shouldn’t have taken too long. Doors banging through the night, maybe some buffers to soften closing? (That may be on me as a light sleeper)

Location was excellent. Close to the Hackescher Markt with the S bahn. Also not far from Alexanderplatz. Breakfast was very good. All you could wish for. The suite we booked was spacious.

We had expected more from an expensive suite. No fridge, showering in the bathtub with no handle to hold on to. No hooks at all in the bathroom to hang clothes. 2 huges TV screens, of which one was obstructing the access to the bed. A lot of design mistakes you would not expect. Also, the hotel send an e-mail the day we arrived, that the elevator was broken. They put us on the first floor. So that was not a big deal.

Perfect location, super comfy bed, spotless throughout and fabulous breakfast. The bar staff were superb too.

Really narrow underground parking lot – for experienced drivers only. It’s great they offer parking, though.

Location was perfect! Nearby everything and easy to go with train from the airport.

The location was perfect for the sights we wanted to see. The room was too warm, the aircon did nothing, the only way to cool it down was to open the window which allowed the noise of the road directly below to come in and interrupt our sleep.We did not purchase the breakfast package.

Being able to use the aircon to cool the room down. For tab to switch it to cooling was broken and unable to be moved which was very frustrating. So even setting the aircon to 10 degrees it was still very warm.

the elevator was not functional because it was being replaced; unfortunately i was notified of this immediately after the free cancellation period expired?. In addition i received one room on the 4th floor.At check in, the receptionist and the staff present did not speak english which seems unforgivable to me for a 4 star hotel in the center of a European capital.

Room was cleverly designed and very comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding. Staff is friendly and helpful. Good location. Overall, a much better experience than some fancier and pricier hotels.

Elevator was being replaced when we were there. We were not notified until check in. Our room was not ready until after check in time. Staff was very apologetic and we were given a coupon for free drinks at the bar. I suspect this problem will disappear when the elevator is fixed.
