The Circus Hotel

They helped to find another room when the original one had excessive noises.

Great location, stylish decor, and lively atmosphere. The hotel also had a beautiful back patio, nice views from the rooftop terrace, and a delicious cafe next door. We loved exploring the neighborhood and had easy access to public transport.

The AC did not work very well and it was really hot out.

What didn¿t I like about this hotel!?!? Everything was fantastic! The decor, service, the room, the location. Everything was fantastic!

I was surprised by how slippery the tile in the bathroom was. My husband and I are both fit and spry and in our 30¿s and almost slipped multiple times until I decided to just lay down a large bath towel to ensure we wouldn¿t we wouldn¿t get injured.

It was a good size and great location with easy access to public transit plus various bars and restaurants nearby. The staff and bar/breakfast were friendly and helpful (and good in their own right despite being a "hotel bar"). Clean and eclectic rooms.

Great location, hip and up to date design in the room and common areas with many thoughtful touches and suggestions. The a la carte breakfast in the lobby restaurant was also very very good and we ended up eating there every morning.

The weather was extremely hot during our stay and the room air cooling system didn¿t quite cool the room adequately especially after taking showers (the lack of bathroom exhaust fan didn¿t help).

This hotel is ideally situated for all your tourist needs 30 minutes walk takes you to Check point Charlie ,Brandenberg Gate and all major museums. 5 minutes walk from Alexanderplatz and TV Tower.

Rooms to the front of the Hotel have problems with noisy traffic. I mentionned this to the staff after my first nights stay and they moved me to a beautiful to the rear of the hotel. This was this icing on the cake.

The area the hotel is in is excellent for discovering the most interesting parts in Berlin.

The staff were very nice and extremely helpful.

The heating in the room did not work (radiator behind the bed frame). I called reception to fix this and did what they said and it still didn’t work, it was freezing so we had to put on both bathroom radiators and leave the bathroom door open to heat the bedroom. They gave us two single blankets on a king size bed instead of one large blanket.

The staff were unbelievably professional in a very cool modern way. So so helpful with advice for things to do and where to eat. So kind. Best stay at a hotel in years.

I had a great experience at this hotel. Great atmosphere, lots of facilities for guests, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room itself was quite sizable, bed was comfortable, view was very nice. It was also very clean. The location was incredible, right outside of the Rosenthaler Platz U-Bahn station which made it easy to get anywhere in the city quickly. The next time I find myself in Berlin I will absolutely book with them again.

My only complaint is that the bathroom was quite dimly lit.

The hotel staffs were so helpful and friendly! We loved the uniqueness design, youthful and cosy atmosphere. They have maps, little pocket notes for guests to take away and explore the city. There are a lot of good food nearby, Circus hotel has a sister branch called Circus hostel that offers wonderful beers from their microbrewery. Our room was big and comfortable.

Heater worked very effectively, it was a little too warm when we returned on some days. :) But we should have reached out to the staff for help, they opened the window on some days for us.

The rooms were really nice and the location was great. The staff was also so friendly and willing to help with anything.

Great style and fantastic attention to detail. Everything you could want was available. We had a ‘small’ room but there was plenty of space. The staff were friendly and always helpful. It was in a great location, with excellent transport links to all of Berlin. Personal touches like a personalised welcome note on the bed made it even lovelier!

Fantastic location. Everywhere is walkable and there is a u bahn by the door. But the area has a local neighbourhood feel

Be prepared for a lot of traffic noise

The room is spacious. The hotel is quite clean. The staff and service level is high. The hotel has a restaurant / bar on the ground floor. The streets nearby have a lot of restaurants and transportation choices. Great Berlin experience overall.

Providing good sleep is the number 1 job for a hotel, and this hotel fails at it. The rooms which face the street are very noisy due to the tram that passes in front of it. I am a heavy sleeper and I was waken up at night and early in the morning, multiple times with the passing of the tram. The hotel should make those rooms much cheaper than the rooms facing the courtyard or it should make some heavy investment on better acoustic isolation.
