The staff, specialy the breakfirst staff, is very friendly and recognise the hotel guests and their wishes at a second visit.

Some rooms are loud, windows to the big street in front of the hotel.

The front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. The price was a value, locale very good.

In room coffee/tea would be nice.

Very airy large room. Lovely healthy breakfast options. Great location, close to S-bahn, buses, Kurfürstendamm.

Large room - typical old school environment from decades past in terms of size and space. Good location - walking distance from where we needed to be, transport links and some tourist attractions. Large variety of food options in the area.

Due to the age of the building there is no elevator - which was not a problem for us, but some individuals (small stature with big suitcase or elderly) might have a problem. No coffee making facilities in the room, and no accessible communal coffee facilities after hours.

Perfect location,close to everything,a lot of great restaurants around ,main shopping street just around the corner ,all the Christmas market like 10 min away,close to train station,host was so nice and apartment was spacious,clean &beds were comfortable -perfect spot for your weekend in Berlin :)

It is a shame they are no longer serving breakfast on weekdays. A kettle in the rooms would be a real help

Stairs no lift, but it seems there is a room down stairs with no steps for disabled guests.

Great location. Rooms are simple, but the whole property (located in a historic building) has a lot of character and some nice touches such as interesting artwork in the room and in the hallways.

The noise from the downstairs bars makes it very noisy during the night.

Nice enough hotel that could be great. Good location (10 minute walk to S-bahn and U-bahn), comfy beds, good waterpressure and some beautiful old details. Our room had hight ceilings and was large and pleasant. It could use some maintenance though. The man who welcomed us was very nice. So overall good choice in this pricerange.

Parts are not that well maintained: we had mold in the bathroom, on some walls, a showercurtain thats didnt stop the water from flooding the floor and my parents room had a curtain that was only half on the rail. No dealbreakers, but seems like such a small effort to make it nice. The breakfast was not as good as we hoped so we only had that once. There are many nice bakeries around.

Lovely clean room with a private shower/ toilet in the hallway. Close walking distance to everything cafes, restaurants, shopping, trains etc... Lovely hosts

I was very warmly welcomed by the owner who also answered quickly to any messages. I was able to Check in also earlier which I highly Appreciated!My room was located at the very back of the hotel, so it was very quiet there during the night. Therefore I slept like a baby on my first night which never happens to me while travelling!

Not the cleanest building or room I have stayed in but I think a lot of the unclean areas were because of the age of the building.

There is no street noise.

First, the room was very small. The last two times I stayed there, I was given much larger rooms. The bathroom is so small that the door only opens about halfway because the door hits the toilet. Second, the shower curtain is about 4 inches too short. Consequently, after one shower, the bathroom floor was totally flooded. I could see in advance that was going to happen and there was no way to avoid it. Third, the room was cold and I could not find any way to turn on the heater. Fourth, the bed covering was too thin so it was necessary to put on more clothes during the night in order to be warm enough.

Nice staff and it is close to good bars and restaurants and also metro station

The doors will get opened easily by anyone . We were sitting in our room and some girl just randomly opened our room door and said oh sorry and closed it
