Pros +
- The lobby was the only redeeming feature at this place
- The staff was great, and so was the price for 2 nightit was not bad at all. But the location is absolutely awful it's almost 20 - 30 mins by car to get from there to any where meaningful, like the train station and the city center not to mention expensive unless you are renting a car. The actual room was also "acceptable" but the bathroom was just awful. It had no doors to the shower and either the drain was clogged or something but the water just flooded all over the place it was just awful.
- Nice rooms. Lovely staff when we checked in.
Cons -
- The entire place was in terrible condition, the rooms were dirty, the halls would assault our noses with a terrible smell, and every time my friend and I would leave our room, the door was always open when we came back, even with the dnd sign in place. The place overall was sketchy and disgusting.
- Staying at this hotel felt like being in a low-budget horror comedy. From check-in, things went downhill: missing towels, no cup, no coffee, and a room that looked like it had survived a minor disaster. The mattress? Less “king-size comfort,” more “ocean waves simulator.”The highlight (if you can call it that) was the toilet, which went on strike Friday evening. We reported it Saturday morning, the reception smiled and said it would be fixed… and nothing happened. Only after we asked to change rooms did they suddenly remember plumbing exists and started fixing it while we were in the new room.4 stars, and only because the reception staff were genuinely kind. Unfortunately, kindness doesn’t clean rooms—or flush toilets.

Nice rooms. Lovely staff when we checked in.
Stairs to reception. No staff available for check out.
Dirty and damaged, awful stable smell, carton walls
Price
Noisy equipment and staff.
The hotel is not that bad if you’re not looking for relax. We were there for 2 nights but we came late and checked out early in the morning. It has its own parking in front. It is near two shops (3 minutes) and the public transport (5 minutes). The room was clean and very warm. There were two nice ladies ate the reception the second day and on the third day when we checked out.
The hotel is near constructions. The rooms are really noisy and the first night someone was walking really loud over us and we couldn’t sleep. The bathroom was not that clean and very small. When we were checking in there was a boy at the reception and he was not that nice. Maybe he should put more effort when working with clients.
Location was near the train, and not far from restaurants and Aldi
Location is next to an abandoned building within the premises. Confusing entrance to the location. Looks more like a hostel than a hotel. Staff was nominal.
Bed was comfortable
Whole bathroom floor gets flooded when you shower, the furniture is dirty and poorly alligned, wardrobe has no hangers, they give only on towel, no room cleaning. THE WORST THING IS SOUND ISOLATION. I got woken up 1st night 3 times because reception guy was watching videos on his phone in reception and i could hear it 5 rooms away. Next night there were kids playing in the hallways like 5 of them and they were constantly screaming and to top it off fire alarm went off at 6:30 in the morning. The Hotel is super shady overall, other guests are shady as well. The only nice thing was that bed was ok. Expect bare minimum from this hotel, I chose it because it was last minute and i didnt had any other options, but i siggeat you pass on it if you have a chance
Dirty sheets. Room smelled stale, venting did not help. Bathroom reeked of sewer. DO NOT BOOK!
The sheets were dirty! Absolutely unacceptable for even the cheapest hotels/hostels. The whole hotel smelled stale, as if not cleaned very often. Bathroom smelled heavily of sewer. To the point of making me wretch. I mean... I've smelled sewer before at places but only shortly and was never this strong. Absolute nightmare. Would not recommend to anyone!
Location, bed, bed linen, towels, water, free coffee, and nice staff
It was constantly dirty at the hotel stairs. Bathroom door was partially broken, room and equipment looks second hand use.The wasted water in bathroom stay and when I bathing it became a small basin. I had to ask twice just for one room cleaning for 4 nights stay. Even nice just a part of the staff speak English
It was clean the staff was very friendly and it was very quite
Rooms were nice size
It was dirty & we left a day early
The location was ok. There are two shops just nearby (Lidl and Aldi) and the location is well communicated. The rooms were rather nice, with big and comfortable beds.
The room was cleaned only during the first two days of our stay. Apart from that the place is still a bit under construction and not everything (both in the rooms and in the hotel itself) was fully finished, e.x. the fountain and bar. No proper kitchen or kitchen utensils for the guests. The window between the bathroom and bedroom was also a bit weird.
the size of the room. friendly staff. close where we had business and s7 station springfuhl. near by supermarket aldi, lidl.
Responsive personnel, quiet location, affordable value for money.
Bathroom needs a mop so guest can wipe a floor after showering.
Clean bedlinen, close ro the supermarket and SBahn
Constant noise, power driling and repair work even at 22,23 pm. Overall buildong aspect, everything is in very poor shape. I don’t recomend at all.
The room was cleaner than what I read in reviews, and it's not bad at all, but it would have been good if they provided shower gel and other amenities.
It is not good for the price. Grand Inn is just a name and it's not about the level. I would expect better from the staff to keep the bedsheets clean.
It was worth the money. Friendly staff and always willing to help the guests. I will recommend. And it is close to transportation and supermarket.
I love every minute of my stay at the hotel .Good breakfast ?
The fundamentals are ok. Price is good, the room is large enough, it does not give a general idea of cleanliness but that does not mean it is not.It is a few meters away from the sbahn / tram station.
No hairdryer in the roomBreakfast, that costs 10 euros, is barely acceptable No luggage deposit when you checkoutA generic atmosphere of decadence, which can be quiet fasciting
