    Pros +

    • This hotel was fantastic! Perfect launch pad for seeing the sights! The BVG (trolly) and U-Bahn is right there for public transportation to get around the city.
    • Location and apartment were great and modern with plenty of eateries and a supermarket close by. U-6 train stop of Naturkundemuseum is across the street and many tram stops two blocks away. Took the M-5 for a very short ride late evenings to Alexanderplatz Square for fun activities, music, and food to finish off our days after touring the city of Berlin. Surprisingly, american music played during this Oktoberfest open-air celebration. Our two-bedroom 3-bed apartment was sufficiently large for three high school friends in their 70's touring Europe. The beds are American queen size not king as advertised. Appreciate the small fridge/cooler and kind smiling housekeeper. She had a translation App to help her serve you. She even let us burrow an iron. A small microwave to heat up leftovers would have been nice as well as ability to hang up a couple of clothes but are not deal breakers.
    • across the street from transit, clean, comfortable, A/C worked very well.

    Cons -

    • Once there, it was a little bit of a challenge to find where we were supposed to check in. However, once we figured it out, the keeper was willing to store our bags until checkin time so we could go explore.
    • I had no problem with the hotel not having any staff upon arrival but check-in would have been easier if initial entry instructions sent were also in English. Another guest coming out of the elevator helped with the translation. On the day of arrival, most likely while you're in the air, you will be sent elevator access code, your apartment entry code, and Wifi password. Press the key sign before and after your apartment entry code for the door to unlock. Later instructions in German and English arrived hours later. A couple of other arriving guests were stranded outside with no entry instructions directly from Art Apartments. My advice is to initiate contact with Art Apartments itself and ensure they have your phone number before you leave home. Their contact information is embedded in your booking.com confirmation.
    • The heating system.

The location is good, though the flat was quite cold, and the heating didn´t work really well.

    The heating system.

The apartment was clean and according to the description.

Communication with the staff was simply not possible. We tried communicating over a simple topic per app, the landline, two mobile numbers and email for over two days. NO ANSWER AT ALL. Never again.

    5ŠimonPosted on: 11-24-2025

clean, close to the city centre and public transport right outside. there were some facilities missing like plates etc. but that wasnt a problem since i only stayed for a night

the communication with the host is absolutely dissapointing. you are supposed to, by their words, receive the checkin info around 11. i received the info around 15:30 after the checkin time started and only after calling like 5 times

    8CHOKRONPosted on: 10-8-2025

We wanted to know if there any case of a luggage room as our train was at 17h and the check out was at 11.Would've been nice to answer at least to the mail sent the day before...

good location, nice clean and tidy

no service at all. getting an invoice is a drama. involved booking.com support, still nothing. given phone numbers are mostly useless, only Mr. Bak picks up the phone.

Small quiet area. Perfect location to explore Berlin within reasonable walking distance. Food and stores are nearby.

    10LisaPosted on: 8-17-2025

The property was in a great location with food and entertainment within walking distance. Everything was clean and all the instructions were clear.

    10AmyPosted on: 7-27-2025

    Centrally located, stylish and comfortable.

Nothing really. Seems like it may have recently been renovated. The shower shelf fell off during our stay Andrew were a few open wall access holes but these things did not negatively impact our stay.

    9MariannePosted on: 7-21-2025

Cool location. Loved the cleanliness and comfortable for our family of 6.

Just appeared to be unfinished. Like they rushed through renovations. Staff was not as responsive as with other places we have stayed.

    10ServaisePosted on: 7-11-2025

New, beautifully decorated. About 1 km from main attractions but well and easy connections. The apartment had a great atmosphere and check in was easy with pin code.

Communication not responded to and weak wifi

    4GuyPosted on: 6-25-2025

    the hotel is nice

I had a very disappointing experience. The air conditioning in my room was not working, and despite the extreme heat (34°C outside), the hotel did not respond to any of my messages or calls. I tried multiple times to reach out, but received no reply. This lack of basic communication and support made the stay extremely uncomfortable and frustrating.

big room, great bed, clean, easy contact for entry the apartment.

    4BaranaPosted on: 6-8-2025

The owners will never answer you if you have any problem you should solve it yourself cause there is no one who answers you. The place is clean and nice but the staff ruim the whole experience

    1JohnPosted on: 5-28-2025

Property overbooked, canceled our room, and turned us away without communication.

Property overbooked and left a family of 6 without accommodations.Zero communication. We didn’t find out that we had no place to stay until we showed up at the property.Easily one of the worst experiences we’ve had on this platform.Thankfully Booking.com took care of us.

    9JeffreyPosted on: 5-28-2025

Clean spacious rooms, easy to access and close to everything including local transportation.

It could be a bit noisy on the street side. Much quieter overlooking the courtyard.

    10GeorgePosted on: 5-24-2025

Big queen bed. Large apartment. Great shower. Has an elevator. Nice view

    No microwave.

    8tranquilguPosted on: 5-19-2025

The flat was wonderful. Location is very convenient. Facilities in the apartment are great. I travelled alone but the apartment is spacious and can definitely house 4 guests. The landlady accommodated my request of a later check-out time (1pm) which I did appreciate.

The passcode to get access to the apartment provided by the landlady was incorrect. I had to call / message the landlady in front of the apartment to sort it out. I waited for 10 minutes and the landlady gave me another code to try.
