Pros +
- The equipment is clean and has a bit of an underground vibe, which not everyone will appreciate as much as I did. With its location in the inner East Berlin district of Friedrichshain and its history, it fits the place perfectly. A big plus is the courtyard parking and, above all, the central location close to the East Side Gallery and Mercedes‑Benz Arena. It may feel a bit spooky, but you just must not be afraid of that. The price–city center–parking ratio is really more than good.
- Big and warm room, great position
- Very soft beds, easy to find, close to station
Cons -
- Centrum
- No elevator, room could be cleaner
- A small kettle in the room would have been great

Location
They left only one small pillow and cover sheet for one in a “double bed” as I did the booking for myself. So, two pillows in total was a luxury and unnecessary to them. Their excuse was that I booked the room only for me :) Really bad customer experience & service.
The location was good and the view from the window was nice.
•The room was very cold, even though the hotel knew we were checking in that day, they didn’t heat the room in advance. We felt very cold during our three-day stay and received no help from the staff.•The bedding was uncomfortable. They combined two small duvets to make a large one, which was not comfortable.•Noise from outside was very noticeable; all the sounds from trams and the street could be heard inside, making it hard to feel comfortable.
Good location.
Loud, very loud. Trams, ambulances, police sirene… the entire night. The bed was way too soft (very old springs), and the bathroom had a disgusting sewage smell.
The hotel was vertiy central, quiet and the room was clean and comfortable
I had to carry my luggage up 3 floors because there was no elevator
Very poor
The room was dusty and it was cold. The towels have not been changed
I consider that it’s good property for students. Softly ,comfortable and nobody’s bothers
I have a negative review. The floor is a bit cold
Central location, close to public transport. Rooms are simple, but totally fine for the price you pay. In other reviews people complain about the noise, but for the central location close to lots of bars and clubs, the noise was minimum.
Late check-in is through a side door in a dark alley next to the building. You then need to pass the also dark inner court to enter the building. Some more light here would be great. I've stayed here before and when the hotel still had an 24h reception, which was much better.
The location was awesome especially for people who have a concert to attend to in Uber arena. But even so going to the centre was very quick and easy. The staff were very helpful with the problems we faced and they were very kind as well. It was pretty clean with fridge having a bad smell as an exception.
Originally we got placed into a very cold room and had to sleep in our winter coats and mittens (end of november) and were very upset about this. Staff explained to us that there was an issue and offered us a new room that was better, but i wouldn’t say we were warm. Both me and my friend slept in couple of layers but it was much better than the previous room. Also no hot water, only lukewarm.
Good location, easy to access and accommodating outside opening hours
One room had no heating, which couldn’t be fixed before we left
The location is perfect, nearby lots of restaurants and cafes. It's a very good deal for the money.
The bed was one of the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept in.
Amazing location right near all public transport. The rooms were spacious, after hours check in was very easy, staff very friendly. Rooms were clean. I don’t understand the bad reviews of this place. It was great! Yes it is an old building, but it is also the cheapest hotel with private rooms in Berlin! The value for money is beyond excellent. There is no lift, but it is clearly stated everywhere before you book, I was okay with this.
The pillows were uncomfortable but this might just be personal preference.
Very nice stay, top location surrounded by lotsss of food places , bars, very close to the train station, bed was super comfy. The staff was very nice and helpful and made me the best coffee in the morning.
The location is really good and easily accessible
The room was extremely noisy because the windows are old and not insulated enough. It was impossible to sleep on the first floor with the noise of the city and road just below. It was also extremely cold, even with the radiator turned on.
It had everything I needed for the price in a really really good location. The receptionists were really lovely and helpful. The power went out in my room and they immediately moved me to another room.
One of the rooms didn’t have a fridge but I was only there for a short time so it wasn’t a bother
-Staff friendly and helpful-One of the lowest price without being an hostel-The neighbourhood, very relaxed even in working day, easy to get foods-The close proximity to Warschauer Str. S-U-Bahn Tram station-Kitchen presence-Bed and shower ok
-No elevators, big stairs-The lack of noise isolation : the tram arrival is clearly heard-I have a kitchen but no pan to use, only small plastics things-The strange noises from the inner-wall electric equipment
It was close to anything we needed. S and Ubane just around the corner, shops, restaurants and coffee shops all around! Cozy room in old Berlin building!
Location is nice.
Very much dust. Unclean. Rooms definitely need an upgrade. Hotel is very expensive for the price. Bed is very old and wayyyy to soft
