St Christopher’s Inn Berlin - Alexanderplatz

Unwelcoming stuff.

It was my first time staying at St.Christopher’s, where people relax, watch football games with friends, and enjoy nightlife, the pub culture has totally conquered me. It was a pub quiz night during my stay. I love the dynamics in St.Christopher’s and I made the choice to stay in the Bruges’ branch without hesitation. Great breakfast by the way.

The hallway and rooms are a bit moldy.

it’s really in the heart of berlin, i liked the location

i hate giving 1 star to hostel because i understand there are things that are not under their control, but as soon as i arrived the receptionist was rude to me, it felt like she was doing me a favor by checking me in. the room was impossible to sleep in, very noisy, people were turning the lights on at 1 a.m., and climbing up to the bed was awful.

I liked the location and the fact that in the female bedroom I only had to share with one more person.

The building is old and it has that old smell.

The room was clean, warm and nice

I need to say that the staff its amazing, the people here are really helpful and they actually look happy doing their job, i would really recommend this hostel to anyone that had the chance for staying here, special thanks to the Argentinian and Portuguese guy who were really kind during my stay

I idnt found so clean the floor of the room but probably was because of deteriorating but taking that outside as a detail the place is great

The hostel is located within a walking distance from Alexanderplatz, and another U-bahn station is right in front. The rooms and showers are clean and well-maintained. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. The view from the room was a nice surprise

This hostel is a complete disaster. At check-in, the staff told me I had to pay a €17 deposit and clearly said I would get it back later. At check-out, they suddenly changed the story and said they only took €2, which is not true.When I asked them to call the staff member who checked me in to clarify the situation, they refused to call him and said things like “He won’t remember” and “I don’t care, do whatever you want.” They simply did not want to help and refused to return my deposit. This is unacceptable and feels like a scam.The staff attitude was extremely rude and disrespectful, especially one staff member (the black guy) who was very impolite, aggressive in his way of talking, and clearly did not care about guests at all. This was the biggest problem of my stay.About the hostel itself:•Very dirty•Beds are extremely uncomfortable•Bed size is way too small, especially for tall people (I’m 1.85 m)•I had terrible nights and could not sleep properly•No common area to sit, relax, or meet other travelersThere is a bar downstairs that gets very loud and crowded at night with locals, making it impossible to rest. It doesn’t feel like a hostel at all.This is by far the worst hostel I have ever stayed in. I strongly do NOT recommend it, especially for solo travelers.Do not even think about booking this place.

I enjoy staying here for 3 days and 2 nights. I recommend that you always book together with breakfast. 6 Euro for breakfast and eat all you can. They value your money ?.

The location 10/10 in front of hostel is a train station. Easy access to everything ☺️.

Location is quite good

Had a problem with the keycard not working but it was resolved quickly

Great staff, very fun atmosphere, and great location.

Definitely a party hostel so be prepared for everything that comes with that.

Very good place, the staff are very kind and attentive, the bed was very comfortable.

The environment was bad and no personal bathroom or toilet I canceled my booking with the receptionist I didn’t get my money back am not happy they scammed me!!

Room carpet need to be changed and clean , smelly carpets , toilet need to be look after more

Nice little breakfast

No heating in a Berlin Winter?! It was freezing. Also the numbers on the bed are hard to find in the dark, with no reasonable system

Perfect location. It’s very central but not in a busy area. A tube station is literally in front of the hostel. There are cute coffee shops, stores and galleries nearby. There bunks are functional, with plugs, lights, and curtains.

The facilities were quite old. My bed didn’t smell fresh. The male’s toilets were quite far from my room. There’s no fridge or kitchen. The lobby is a pub where is busy in the evening. You would have to cross the crowd to go to the rooms.
