The spa and the Lang bar

The hotel was good. The included amenities should be detailed in your booking price (spa, breakfast etc.). It was a good price but the added extras made it the same price as booking direct.

Design of rooms and breakfast buffet

Concierge and maid service not customer friendly. Last day bed was not made and dirty glasses left in room. Concierge was not helpful and did not go out of way for information.

The room was fantastic; maybe the best shower to date.

They would only leave two bath towels for the two of us; would have been nice to have two each rather than to have to ask every day...

Service was excelleny, and staff courteous and helpful.

The location is good, the rooms are spacious and clean.

I sent my clothes for laundery and i had the Do Not Disturb light on. I was surprised when i got back to have my clothes inside my closet though the light was on. This is a security preach and i did not feel safe after this. The manager decided to have the invoice of the laundry reduced to 50% as an apology which is disrespectful for an act that has an invasion of privacy.

Lovely hotel, staff issues evident

The trip was ruined when I was informed while checking in that I had booked 2 rooms and that I had to pay for 2 rooms. I spent the entire trip chasing and arguing with both the hotel and Booking.com to finally get confirmation that I had only booked 1 room. The hotel tried to charged my credit card for the second room, this transaction was not authorised and it resulted in my credit card being declined. There were also service issues in the restaurant. I booked a half board rate. The 2nd night we were told there was no such rate meal for dinner available. This position was corrected after much discussion, it was embarrassing. If the hotel sells me a half board rate, then it should provide what I have paid for. If we had accepted what we were being told the 2nd night we would have left the restaurant and paid for food in an external venue. This is totally unacceptable from a 5 star hotel, you basically are selling rates that your staff are not aware of, resulting in the staff basically telling the guests that they are lying or stupid or mixed up. I really am tempted to flag all of these issues in an honest manner on social media.

Amazing hotel in a perfect location surrounded by bars and restaurants and one of the Xmas markets literally 5 minutes walk away and the hop on hop off bus starts literally around the corner from the hotel

Nothing it was perfect

What a great hotel, excellent service, super-friendly staff, there was a little surprise for my birthday guest and the breakfast offers a wide selection and is highly recommended.

The staff was nice. Everything was clean. The location is fantastic.

The price is too high

Arrival and departure

A political heavyweight was staying at the hotel and as a consequence all other guests were hugely inconvenienced, ignored and all facilities - including the bar and restaurant - were closed off. Service was awful and the foyer was full of security, military or police. We should have been offered alternative accommodation at the start - not least because as it was the globally controversial President of ISRAEL we also felt we were put at risk just being at he hotel and not once did anyone enquire about our thoughts. It was shocking!

Bad

I was extremely disappointed. I expected a certain style of behavior, but the lady at the reception probably thought she was the owner of the hotel. She refused to accommodate us only because my brother was 17 years old. Then I demanded at least accommodation for me and the lady said that she was not interested and that I would leave. I have visited dozens of top hotels in my life, but I have never seen such behavior anywhere. Finally, we went to stay at the Ritz Carlton Berlin and I can only recommend it, they accommodated us immediately and they have incredible service as always.

The quality of the mattresses, the spa with sauna, the breakfast, the kindness of the staff.

The day before our departure, I contacted the guest service to request breakfast in our room at 6:30 AM, as we had to leave by 7:00 AM. I was politely informed that it was not possible before 7:00 AM. Breakfast was included, and for a five-star hotel of this class…

The staff was very professional. The room was very comfortable. The room service was good, too. Breakfast was exceeding my expectations.

The access to the pool was not free of charge.

Location ok

Expensive Hotel, lack of staff. Not recommendable for biz Groupe. They gave me a handicap room, it was pie in the wc when I arrived. Not possible to reduce the temperature so sweating during the night. Tried to call room service to order an iron for about 2 hrs , no one picked up the phone. Day after I managed to reach through and a kindly guy said he will bring g it up, I never saw anything arrived my room. First and last time at Waldor A in. Berlin.

It was ok, but for this type of hotel you can not afford to have dis-qualifiers like no housekeeping

Housekeeping was bad. Did not arrive before 4-5 pm or not at all. Not well organised.
