Lovely hotel in superb location. The staff bent over backwards to help, the room was very comfortable with a great city view and the breakfast was excellent.

Terrible music with an irritating beat in reception, the bar and even in the lifts. No escape in public areas.

Beautiful building with stylish and very comfortable rooms. The check in was excellent , warm, welcoming, and highly professional.

The bar staff was arrogant and uninterested, which completely changed the atmosphere and took away from an otherwise great stay.

The view from the room was beautiful, the design as well, but the staff behaviour was very cold, not really friendly.

Heating not properly working, I was cold all night.

All the staff were really friendly and welcoming. From the staff on the front desk to the housekeeping team everyone had a smile and made me feel welcome. The breakfast was fantastic. Coffee machine in the room was a nice touch. I stood out on the balcony most mornings with a coffee. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfortable.

The only thing I’d say is that the wooden floors made footsteps above quite loud. But it wasn’t to much of a problem. Also tricky to connect a laptop to the TV if you wanted to watch your own films etc. However, I managed to use my HDMI cable which wasn’t the easiest to get into the port as the telly was fixed to the wall.

Rooms, bed, design and locations were nice. Super clean.

Very transactional at a high price point. Started with having to wait for a handover to finish upon check in to a really strange breakfast experience. Buffet was sparce at best with zero service and most guests wondering around. we couldn't even pay for it even if we wanted as there was just nobody. Restaurant felt like a canteen, no salt, pepper or even a plant on the table.

Reception staff unqualified. I Didn’t get the room I paid for and nothing was done to salvage that or offer a gesture. Service at reception is below expected standard.

The aesthetics were stunning and the size of the room was perfect. The lounge area was nice. Checking in and out was seamless. Staff team were friendly and helpful - thank you

Room is not warm enough and lights are maddening. No idea how to turn them on or off. Switches look cool but are completely unintuitive.

We have booked single bed for my dad and me. Upon arrival it was a double room, so they moved some furniture around and wheeled in a foldable guest bed. This was after my card had been charges twice for personal,charges on top of the paid room rate, a process handled by unfriendly staff (check out sunday was nice) Breakfast buffet is ok, but tables are not cleared and quality of food is mediocre. The hotel is beautifully designed but not well managed and therefore overpriced

Very little.

The place has no soul. Not a single member of staff looked like they wanted to be there. The front desk didn’t know where their gym was. The restaurant staff didn’t know how the breakfast worked. The shower leaked. The electricity ports in the room didn’t work

Great location in the center of the city. A converted 18th century telegraph station with a great gymnasium.

The rooms were nice and clean.
