Queens Park Hotel

Wi-Fi didn't work properly and I ended up paying for roaming since I had todo some work from my laptop.Staff every day tried to open door and enter my room, when I was inside to clean my room and I didn't have any sign "do not disturb" to put on door

– The room was spacious. – The hotel is within walking distance of several metro stations, which is very convenient.

– The internet works only in the reception area; there is no connection in the rooms. – The room was not very clean. – There is no fridge, kettle, hairdryer in the room. Although these items were not listed in the booking, for a three‑star hotel and the price charged, this is quite disappointing. – There is no elevator. The building is with high floors, so if you have heavy luggage, there is no assistance and you have to carry it yourself. – The hotel is located inside a courtyard and it is very dark in the evening. There is no additional lighting on the way in, so finding the entrance for the first time is quite difficult. – The smoking is officially prohibited in the hotel, the smell of cigarettes is noticeable almost everywhere.

It was quite spacious, all the necessary amenities were provided, it was fairly clean, and it was close to the метро.

There was an unpleasant smell coming from the refrigerator.

The stay was good but...

There bathroom is small in size therefore was not comfortable to a bath. There was no kettle in the room nor any coffee mug to make hot water. The WIFI was not good.

The room was spacious and reasonably clean. Comfy bed and quiet throughout the night.

We had a terrible experience with a staff member on arrival which really ruined our stay. Prior to arrival, we had messaged with the property through Booking.com, who had confirmed in writing that we could leave our luggage at reception, as we were arriving in Berlin at 6am. As such, we walked for about 20 minutes in the dark and cold with heavy backpacks to the hotel. On arrival, the staff member at reception told us we could not leave our bags at the hotel. When shown the message she said that the hotel did not write that and there was no option to leave luggage and that we had to leave (despite there clearly being a space for it in reception that we could see), meaning we had to walk all the way back and find another option. This was incredibly frustrating and by lying one way or the other they caused a really delayed and frustrating morning for us. Don’t trust anything that the property tells you prior to arrival!!Also very difficult to find the property as it appears to be under active construction. There is no sign from the road and you have to walk down through a construction site to access the door (no information is provided about this prior so it is very confusing to find). Our booking said check out at 11am and on the morning of check out, we had 3 seperate staff members knocking on our door from 10am, attempting to ask when we were checking out - most of the staff appeared to only speak German despite the listing stating otherwise so communication was quite difficult.

Disappointing

Promised parking place on information on Booking, but there was no parking at place. Must spent 30 minutes searching for ANY place for my car in center of Berlin. Then walk very long with luggage. Came there at night, and there was no change for getting any other hotel.

Everything was okay, I don't know why the rating is so low. Very good localisation if you travel through ZOB, nice apartments, everything was very okay! Also very good price :) I can't say what about the breakfast since I didn't take one.

Poor quality, unsatisfactory

The condition of the room was very bad. The floor was broken, there was hair in the bed, the toilet smelt of urine and the shower screen was broken. There was no bin the room.Also, there was building site outside the hotel, which was very noisy and I was not informed about this. I had to check out of this hotel and did not stay for the full time because the condition was so bad.I complained to the main reception desk.Given the above, I would like to have a full refund of my money.

Fairly closed to Westend station

Hard to find the hotel as it was all dark and there was no sign with the name of the hotel. Entrance way say 'no entrance' and was without any type of light. Construction area. Poorly maintained hotel. Wifi and TV did not work. Poor breackfast and staff did not speak English.

The staff allowed us to leave our luggage as we arrived in the morning. Later, allow us to check in one hour earlier once the room is ready. He also selected the ground floor room to accommodate us. Thank you.

The room only has one ceiling light in the room, and the cabinet racks would benefit from a little bit more attention. But it could be due to ongoing construction around the building where sand and dust are everywhere. Hopefully, they will finish it soon in the next 3-6 months

They gave the autopark service as free. They are very helpful people. Clean enough. Price & performance & location : perfect

There are some noises. Because there is a conteuction near the hotel.

At night, a lot of noise from coridors. the people go to balcony for smoking and drinking and talking. it is not good place for a family. Brekfast poor

The staff was very kind and did everything they could to accomodate us.

The breakfast seemed a little cheap for the price but because of a misunderstanding the staff gifted us with a free breakfast which became amazing, mostly because it was the intention that felt good.

The location is the only thing that is good. Walking distance from the U-Bahn and easily accessible by car. It is outside the green circle, so you don't need a green tag on your car.The staff was friendly and swiftly helped us getting new clean sheets.

Absolutely shabby hotel, they should tear it down and rebuild it! The bedding was not clean on two beds out of four, door lock was mounted with duck-tape to the frame, not secure at all. There was a stove and fridge in the room, both did not work. Stair rails were nasty to say the least.

The staff at the reception are very kind. The location is good, close to the train station. I paid €8 for the breakfast and it was ok, not too many options but the price was fair. I was on the 3rd floor and was very quiet. Good!

The bed was uncomfortable and moved around easily. The floor felt sticky and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. When I entered the room, I found three dead bees on one of the beds. The fan was very old and extremely loud, making it hard to sleep. The TV only had German local channels and couldn’t connect to my phone, so it was useless for me. Finding the entrance was also frustrating—there’s construction at the front of the building and no signage to help.
