The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and tidy. They had lockers for each bed. The windows opened to allow fresh air (which i loved!) I booked a mixed dorm with ensuite - the showers had soap and shampoo which is a bonus!

Good location

I was very disappointed with my experience. The hostel felt unprofessional and misleading in the way it operates. The staff were not respectful toward guests and their attitude was unacceptable. I believe this place could be much better if they hired professional staff and improved their customer service. I would not recommend anyone to stay here until they change their policies and start treating guests with more respect.

Beautiful and comfortable common spaces, perfect for socializing, studying, relaxing. Every day the rooms are thoroughly cleaned, beds are comfortable and the lockers in the rooms are very large.

I really liked the whole space. The cleaning staff were so nice and efficient… very friendly… makes you want to keep the place tidy. The breakfast was really simple and good. Most of the reception staff were very friendly. A good place to come back to.

Since it’s winter, the location is a bit removed from transport and markets etc., nonetheless, the place is worth staying at. There were two, graveyard shift receptionists who are not friendly, but I guess nothing is perfect.

nicely equipped kitchen, clean and spacious, cool inner courtyard that connects the reception, dining area, kitchen and elevator in a cozy and attractive way. very stylish interior straight out of pinterest. capsules were clean, quiet and had adequare ac. also, the hotel has its own happy hour with gt for 3.50€

the bathrooms weren't cleaned as often as they could have been

The location of the facility is quite good, within walking distance of Alexanderplatz (approx. 1 km). The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are cleaned daily. The heating worked perfectly, and both the bathroom and WC were clean. In my opinion, the only thing that distinguishes this place from a hotel is sharing the room with others.Having a 24-hour bar and reception is also a big plus. Although I didn’t use it, there is a kitchen available where you can cook after shopping at nearby supermarkets like Rewe.Pro-tip for Sunday shopping: Since most shops are closed on Sundays, you can find open markets at Ostbahnhof station (about 1 km away, on the -1 floor) or use the "Rewe To Go" at the Aral petrol station on Holzmarktstraße (650m away).I had no issues with noise or other guests during my stay; everyone was very respectful. Highly recommended for a budget-friendly yet comfortable stay.

Things to consider:The reception team is quite large; most of them are very kind and helpful, though a few were a bit cold and distant. However, we are all human and can have off days at work, so I wouldn't consider this a general problem with the facility.A few practical tips for future guests:Locker locks: If you don't bring your own lock, you can rent one from the reception.Towels: These are not free, but they are available for rent.Lockers: The metal locker doors can be a bit noisy; some oiling would easily solve this issue.Lighting: If you enter or leave the room at odd hours, you can't really turn on the main light as it shines directly onto the beds and disturbs others. Using your phone light is the best workaround. It would be great if the hostel could add some dim lighting specifically for the locker area.

It's a clean place (the only hostel in Berlin that doesn't stink of mold), and it's really a lovely building with great lounges and breakfast

I like the building and facilities. There is a basic kitchen and tables downstairs, some common space, bathroom in the number

The toilet in the number had a very strong urine odor. Even if we left the window open for the whole day, this situation didn't change

Amazing staff, Hostel is very comfortable and clean.

This place is quiet and the building is beautiful in its style. The bar zone and inner yard give a comfortable feeling of home.

When I came to the room with capsules and opened mine, there was dirty linen. I had to ask the receptionist to change it, and he gave me clean linen to do it myself. I felt a bit like an employee of the hostel that evening.

The location was nice, calm area with parks, markets, bus and bahns around (10-15 minutes walk) For the price, it's very well worth the stay

The quiet hours are NOT respected with anyone. Every night there was chaosFirst night, some guys sniffing ketamine in the roomSecond one, very loud 4 people until 2-4am, i informed the the property, they didn't care or did nothing (and these people vomited in the room close to morning, the property cleaned it promptly when I informed about this one)Third night, smoking cigarettes in the roomI understand that the property cannot control all people, but STRICTLY informing people when they do check ins (about drug and tobacco use in the rooms) is very important. Staff is kind in general, but they're not super happy to be the staff of this place, they don't care or inform the guests for such things Simple notes (with fine warnings) in every window can also workI don't know, this is the problem of the Management of the facility

Capsule was great and comfortable and safe include sockets for charger and light and fan.The reception was friendly.Everything was clean and safe and good.

The location is somehow scary specially at night.

The location is absolutely peaceful, although it is not too far from the metro station Alexanderplatz. The building has a perfect style, it has a very nice inner yard and a big room for working with laptops at night.

If they offer private rooms, I will choose a private one. If they include the breakfast in the price of the room, that will be even better.

The place is newly remodeled, the rooms are spacious and really clean. Each room has it's own bathroom. You can bring your own locker, or rent one from the receptions. The sharing areas are really clean and well maintained. They are opened 24hr. There are 3 supermarket pretty close to the hostal.

The pillows could be better. It is quite a walk 15-20 min from the closest train station.
