    Pros +

    • Very Friendly staff, Very Helpfull
    • Breakfast was great with a very good selection of very fresh continental buffet foods. Reception was staffed 24/7 and there is a quaint bar. The whole set up was user friendly and efficient. The location is great for us because the hotel is a short walk from our daughter’s apartment! A great supermarket is very close by for groceries etc.. I’m sure we will stay again!
    • Very helpful and pleasant staff. Comfy beds. Lovely and warm

    Cons -

    • Breakfast was too expensive in terms of facillity.Shower was not so good, Room was not cleaned between 1ste and second dayOld Building
    • Unfortunately there was a pervasive smell of drains during our stay which could be from the location rather than the hotel…. It’s a fairly industrial area and there are factories and industrial premises all around..
    • We are elderly and the room was a bit of a distance from reception

    Quiet place

Rooms show their age, but nothing bad if you are staying a few days. The place was clean.

Location was good for what were in Berlin to do. Unfortunately not many facilities nearby and with no resturant/snacks in hotel it meant we had to spend more time in the city to eat.

More snacks or lite bites available. Breakfast was good though

    Room clearness and size.

The last night stay was changed a room without USB socket. Toilet bowl was weird too.

The staff were friendly and the transport links were great.

The TV in the bedroom either wasn’t a smart TV or it wasn’t connected to the internet as the Netflix button on the remote didn’t work, I know this may seem like a small thing but I couldn’t log into any apps like Netflix or Amazon prime like i normally do abroad. I enjoy other cultures but sometimes it becomes overwhelming listening to a different language all day and it’s good to listen to the familiar English language and watch a funny film on TV. The room didn’t have air con just a standalone electric fan or open the window. The water pressure on the shower wasn’t great. There also wasn’t a kettle in the room, reception were very helpful and gave me one for €10 deposit, perhaps this is just a British thing that kettles come as standard in rooms. Lol

    Good

The small fridge in the room was switched off for some reason. Therefore the drinks were hot in summer. Not good.

Beds were comfortable Bit of a dour place

Staff, when I came to check out we had to pay for our breakfast € 60 lady on the desk took the payment in Uk sterling which showed in my account as paid, then she told me she should have taken it in EURO , we were on our way to watch qualifying at the formula e which was in 30 mins and would take us around 20 mins to walk, but she insisted that she had to refund me and take the payment in euros, which I refused as the payment was showing paid , I told her when the payment was refunded I would then pay in euros but she said no and I couldn’t leave the hotel until I had paid in euros, I was traveling with my grandson and I didn’t want him to miss the racing so I paid in euros and had to hope that they would refund me back , which did happen, the amount of stress this caused on what should have been a happy day was unbelievable, all I can think is it was going to cost them a couple of euros to sort it at the bank ? a small price to pay for there own error and good will, because we were late we had to take a taxi to the track €20 so there mistake cost me . Very very disappointed won’t be travelling there again

We came to Berlin for 1 night with a dog and by car. If you’re looking for a nice pet friendly hotel with big parking and outside green zone, this is a good option. Breakfast was a traditional European from fresh ingredients. A comfortable big bed. Clean room. Friendly staff that responds quickly 24/7.

It was a bit stuffy in the room. So if the weather is hot it may not be 100% comfortable to sleep.

The hotel is in an excellent location, close to the metro, in the lovely Tempelhof district. Ideal if you're traveling by car — you can avoid driving into the city center, and there’s free hotel parking.Breakfast is basic but tasty. Though, the scrambled eggs seemed worse than during our stay last year.Rooms are spacious — you won’t feel cramped. There’s a mini-fridge, wardrobe, and seating area.

Bathrooms really need renovation. Fixtures are inconvenient, there aren’t enough shelves or hooks, and ventilation is poor. More importantly, the shower tray leaks — again, there was a puddle behind it after every shower.Rooms use a traditional key, not a keycard. Makes me wonder how safe that is in case of an emergency (fire, etc.).

    - Friendly staff- Clean, big and bright room- Nice price- There is a huge park to run or ride a bike

    - The location is not so close to the city center, but it was our choice and there are a few metro stations 10 minutes by walk from the hotel, so nothing critical

Small, but tidy and cosy room, friendly staff, spacious parking lot and awesome breakfast!

I like that you were not constantly hounded by staff.

No tea/coffee facilities in room. This is a simple thing to fix. The lift sends your stomach up to your brain when it stops on a floor.

    Breakfast

Noisy, Construction, Price too high for these circumstances

    7ArturPosted on: 1-11-2025

The staff was very polite and helpful. The usual European breakfast—nothing special, but everything was fresh and tasty.

Mold in the shower cabin... The lighting was so poor that we had to use a flashlight even in the morning. Dust on the table and other surfaces. The elevator was out of order, and the view from the window was of the roof of a neighboring building, though that’s not important at all.

Great location for the Berlin marathon & near to the expo. The staff were very friendly & welcoming. You can leave your room key with the onsite reception 247 - bonus. The bar in reception was very convenient for a post marathon beer ? "Prost!"

The rooms were very tired and lacked investment. This was expected from a budget hotel but wouldn't normally stay in somewhere like this. "You wouldnt take your girlfriend here." I was a solo traveller & the surge pricing for the Berlin Marathon this made a convenient spot.

Hotel is very good located just 10 min walk from U-bahn and 1min from bus station. Stuff is very friendly.

    Rooms needs update

    Do not recommend

Expensive charge for a ‘just about small dog’ we was told, we have a small pug and was made a big issue about it and charged us €20 for him for staying, rather expensive! Said to us is that okay and then said ‘well you don’t have a choice really’ was very rude. The hotel room stunk bad and the toilet didn’t flush well. The area was rather run down I would avoid at all costs.
