Garner Hotel Berlin - Mitte By IHG

The location was excellent and the hotel was better than expected. Great shower! Delicious breakfast too. Air Conditioning worked well!

The hotel is basically right in the centre, and easy to reach from both the main train station and the airport. The staff was always super friendly and helpful, the breakfast was rich and delicious and everything was sparkling clean. I also liked the size of the room, as many hotel rooms tend to be very small.

It always got pretty hot in the room, even though I turned down the thermostat and I heard other complain about the same issue. The lightning in the room is a bit strange.

Good location for walking around. Comfortable warm bedding. Friendly hotel staff.

The room was a little small for three people. A bit far from public transport.

Spacious room, great central location, powerful shower, excellent breakfast, friendly staff.

Nothing not to like

The location is good and the staff are super helpful

no gym

The room was very nice and we even had a terrace . I had requested a room based on my anxiety and claustrophobia and they gave us a fantastic room. Thank you so much.

The only thing I would say , the hot food for breakfast wasn’t great but everything else was nice.

The hotel staff is nice and helpful. My flight to Berlin was in the morning, but the hotel managed to prepare the room by noon. The room is spacious, it is really warm inside, all the facilities worked, breakfast lasted long enough and allowed me to sleep in.

I like to drink tea, especially in the winter, so luckily I my room had a coffee machine that could heat water, but in another situation I would have really missed a kettle.

This location is THE best. So much to see within easy walking distance and despite being in amongst the action - it was nice and quiet in the rooms.

No complaints at all

Excellent location - very friendly helpful staff

Nothing really but as a coffee addict I would have liked coffee facilities in my room

I liked the room (bed and shower )and breakfast.

Wi-fi is slow.

Central location. Near metro. Near most major attractions. Nice, spacious rooms. Good breakfast.

Lack of basic amenities like coffee, tea, water.

Location was awesome, right in the middle of everything. Room was like on the photos, no complaints. Breakfast had a lot of choice, good food as well.

Nothing major I can think of. Maybe the bed mattress could have been more comfortable.

Clean overall, friendly helpful staff and the location was great!

Nothing!

The hotel has a perfect location — just a few meters from Checkpoint Charlie and within walking distance of the Brandenburg Gate. There are several metro stations nearby, and it’s easy to reach from the airport by public transport. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. I especially enjoyed the breakfast — it was varied, plentiful, and delicious. The staff were kind and helpful, and the place was clean, calm, and quiet. My stay was absolutely perfect!

It was our first trip to the city and it was great to have a place to stay right downtown which had its own safe car parking off street. Despite being in such a vibrant city once you entered the hotel and in particular the room it was peaceful and calm. The rooms were excellent and the staff very helpful.

nothing much

The reception I received was truly great, and both check-in and check-out were speedy. The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast had many (delicious) options of food and drinks to choose from. Overall, I would highly recommend the hotel!

Very central in berlin, quite close to local bus and underground systems. Nice big room with plenty of storage space. Staff were warm and friendly.

Room very dusty, soft pillows and even though it was A double bed there was two single duvets on bed

Close to loads of attractions including checkpoint Charlie and close to central Berlin.

As Brits we like to have a kettle for a cup of tea in our room. The Hotel has decided not to provide a kettle and sundries in Queen bed rooms.

was clean, warm, convenient

the bed, the assistance in the evening was poor

Location, cleanliness and most importantly the friendly and helpful staff.

Nothing dramatic:The kitchen was missing utensils, the staff however was very helpful and provided additional help and utensils. No “dining” table to eat the food prepared in the kitchen, only a desk with one proper chair. I am sure, however, that the staff would have provided an additional chair if we would have asked…
