    • The breakfast was amazing, the staff were friendly, the location was great.

    Cons -

    • No staff around for check in or all day. The only time you found staff was during breakfast hours.
    • The entrance was a bit off-putting but once you got to the hotel itself it was quite nice.
    • It was slightly confusing figuring out how to get back to the property but once we figured that out it wasn’t an issue. This was the only downside at very beginning but room more than made up for that and location.

    Location

Booking.com promised parking. Ended up costing 20eur for 24 hours. Noone said it was third backyard from street. Felt dodgy. Boring rooms. Old worn out beds. Hand wash sink didn't work. Not coming back.

The location was excellent, near different public transport stops.

The staff was almost never present, they treated me and others as dumb kids. They took centuries to answer my messages. The bed was quite uncomfortable. The shower was flooding.

We were unfortunately quite disappointed with our stay. Upon arrival, there was a very unpleasant smell in our room, coming from a visibly dirty and seemingly uncleaned drain. It made the room feel far from fresh or comfortable. When we tried to air it out by opening the windows, we quickly realized this wasn’t an option, as the windows faced a shared yard where people were smoking just outside. As a pregnant guest traveling with a 2-year-old, this made the room particularly unsuitable and uncomfortable for us.The curtains didn’t fully cover the windows, which meant limited privacy, as passersby could easily look directly into the room. The bed was not comfortable, and the overall condition of the room was very outdated — quite far from what the photos had led us to expect. Cleanliness was not impressive, especially given the permanent carpet in the room, which didn’t feel very hygienic. The breakfast area also left something to be desired — the floor was sticky, and you could hear your shoes sticking to it as you walked.

On a more positive note, the location is lovely and quiet, which we appreciated, especially with a small child. Breakfast was decent and fairly varied. With some updates and more attention to cleanliness and guest comfort, especially for families, the experience could be significantly improved.

It was fairly close to the main road with the tram up front. You need to enter through a courtyard and the hotel is hidden somewhat. There are many cafes/ restaurants nearby. The room was small and basic but comfortable. They let you store your luggage.

It was like a ghost hotel. There was rarely any staff or guests I saw. You just leave your key in a basket. The receptionist just stays in the office and I rarely saw her. The reception closes after 8 p.m.

Large room, very clean, small balcony, above average breakfast. Placed in the inner courtyard, you get a little feeling of being a resident. Was well worth the money for us.

It didn't matter to us, but the bathrooms are in deed small for bigger people, there is no lift, and parking is also probably not easy. If you can live with that, I can recommend the hotel.

Confortable room. The hotel is a bit difficult to find the first time, but then is nice as is very isolated from the street.

The location was perfect...a short walk to the trains/trams. The room was clean. Everything worked as expected.

The bed was uncomfortable and small.

The central location in Prenzlauer Berg.

I felt the price didn't match for the facility and breakfast.

    8NitaiPosted on: 12-10-2024

Great location, welcoming staff, and really graet breakfast! Didn't expect that for this price range. For the purpose of having a place to sleep it sure was cost value wise the best!

The entrance is a bit shady and building feeling a bit old.

    Good location.

The room had a broken furniture, bathroom was dirty, bad linen with the huge holes.

    8CristianPosted on: 11-4-2024

Good breakfast, very friendly and efficient staff. Perfect bedroom size and bed for a few days. Decent price. Recommendable.

It is a bit difficult to find the entrance, and the door bell is a bit difficult to see if you arrive late.

Good location, not far from train station.

The hotel street front was dirty & grafitti & looked unwelcoming, but after entrance, it was safe & secure.

Nice, clean spacious rooms and good value for money

The only thing was that it would’ve been nice if there were some international channels as we wanted to relax in the evening watching tv but couldn’t find one channel that wasn’t dubbed in German

We loved our room and we found it very cozy. The beds were comfy and the heating worked excellently, which to me mattered a lot since I am usually the person who needs some more degrees in the room to feel comfortable. Also there are tram stations very close which we used daily and the S-Bahn is 10-11 minutes away. Additionally there are plenty of cute restaurants around plus grocery shops like Lidl/Rewe.

We would have liked the personnel to be more warm :). Also the access to our room was not very clear from the beginning and we wasted a few good minutes while looking for it as we thought it's upstairs and until we managed to contact someone from the reception.

this location is exellent because you have everything near! its a 3 stop from Alexanerplatz if you are using U2 train.i liked that hotel was isolated and there was no noise in the garden. staff was very understandeble ,room was cozy and bright :) this was not my first time for traveling berlin and I feel sorry that i didn't find this place,before.. if you like comfort and feel like you are at home this is right place

    Passable

The hotel looks quite old and needs renovation. We were guests who just needed a place to sleep and that's what this hotel offers. Upon entering, there is an unpleasant smell, and the room cannot be ventilated at any time because it is located on the first floor, right above the courtyard of the kindergarten. It was impossible to open the window in the morning and you can expect that your alarm will be child's play. Wifi didn't work. Hair dryer full of dust, I tried to dry my hair but after 10 seconds it smelled, a spark ignited inside the dryer and smoke started coming out so I had to sleep with wet hair. Everything in all, worn out and old but we were out all the time so it was fine. 100e is too much for two people in this hotel.

Hotel was clean, room cleaned daily. Staff friendly. Breakfast was good, plentiful and priced very good. Transportation was nearby to get around Berlin.

Better explanation on how to get into hotel. Internet very weak in room, ok in lobby. Shower head holder wouldn’t stay up on pole. Shower quite slippery and didn’t drain properly.
