Numa Berlin Kater

We LOVED our stay at Numa apartments. super clean, comfortable, hot showers and fluffy towels. the fridge was stoked with water and beer that was not an extra charge to use as well as bottled water. strongly recommend this place!!!

Good apartments. Clean and spacious. The position is good, in East Berlin, really close to the Wall and to the metro station. The self check-in is very convenient and the staff is well suited to respond to your questions via Whatsapp

The bathroom was very small, especially the sink, but manageable. The kitchen forniture was not suited for the number of booked persons. But the staff can provide additional kitchenware if requested.

Very clean, good location, 24h check-in.

All the blankets are made of feathers and I am alergic so that was not ideal.

The photos showed a living room with a couch. There was no such room. When I contacted the host, they took zero responsibility and just said, that's how booking dot com works and we can't control that. That is ridiculous. We stayed 5 nights and did not have the experience we expected. With kids, it's nice to be able to spread out and have some privacy and quiet time. This says it's an apartment but it's basically a hotel room. Also the lock on the door that we had a code for was nearly impossible to operate. Sometimes we waited for 15 minutes trying it over and over with it not working. This is after coming back from a long tiring cold day and the last thing we needed was to not be able to enter the apartment right away like you'd expect. Don't stay here. There are better options out there.

As the apt is located in a courtyard after entering in the building and you cannot just guess this, it would be very useful when sending the directions to the clients to mention these details: enter into the building, go straight through, towards the lift and....exit the building into the courtyard, then walk straight to enter the rear building. The room is situated on the right, on the ground floor.And....a little bit of maintenance or repair to the code access system will help, too. We had to try several times to succeed opening the door.

Very well located apartments in Berlin, with several rooms and at least one common area per apartment. Comfortable large beds and clean sheets and towels plus toiletries provided

Cleaning service was still inside the apartment when we arrived even though it was already 16h00 (check in time) and took extra time to finish cleaning, so we could not start using the apartment immediatly - though we did get a discount for this which was much appreciated. Having one bathroom with 2 rolls of toilet paper for the number of rooms and days is insufficient, we had to buy our own.

Perfect location for the Uber Arena. Close to the underground station. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Loved the bed!Had everything we needed for our break in Berlin.

Lovely flat and close to a big train station that can take you where you want.

There are three doors that need the PIN to get through: the external one to get into the building, an intermediate one and the last to get into the flat. The intermediate one did not work and I needed the assistant to get in. Twice. The second time I was on a clock and I nearly missed my private coach. This issue needs to be addressed. This could be a reason to prefer hotels vs apartments.

Really enjoyed the apartment with a separate bedroom, big kitchen and small distance to the U1. the apartment has everything you need and it was relatively quiet for the very central location. Also a big plus was the washingmachine and work desk. wifi was fast and the Korean restaurant right outside the main door was awesome.

The apartment was in the back house, which makes it quiet but also a bit dark. all windows face another house facade.

Convenient location and a nice flat. Beds were very comfy, kitchen has basic facilities, design is modern. Nice touches like cold water, hairdryer, safe, shampoo etc.

The flat was ok but don’t stay in it expecting a nice view of Berlin. Had to keep curtains closed as one side was a view of the bins and the other some sort of depot for construction workers. Flat is gloomy (with curtains shut), there is no balcony (unlike some of the photos they have used) Flat is very hard to find. 2 doors on the street and your code will only work on one, then several options of stairs and no clear instructions. Go past the bins and across the courtyard. Communication with numa was good. They will answer your WhatsApp messages if you have problems very promptly. Didn’t feel like we could go out in the evening with kids. Doors open onto picnic benches where people sit and drink and smoke drugs every evening. Not the flats fault but better for groups of friends than families with small children. Parking isn’t great. Expensive on the street but we found the local shopping centre was 10euros a day and about a 10 min walk. Public transport great and a good location to explore Berlin. Again for families - the bunk bed should not be used for anyone under 15 - nothing to stop a child rolling off the mattress and falling onto hard floor. And on the morning of your departure despite an 11am check out time, the WiFi will suddenly develop a ‘fault’ - (presumably to get you out quicker.) despite having worked brilliantly the previous two days, which wasn’t helpful when I had work to do. This was the most expensive flat we rented on our tour of Germany.

Near the local bus, team and U/S Bahn. Most of Berlin in 30 minutes or less by public transport.5 minute walk to Aldi/Lidl/Rewe food shopping.The apartment was clean and tidy.

Due to no Aircon and at the front then lots of noise at night from fights, to emergency vehicles to the UBahn starting at 5am.

No sheets for sleeping on the couch, i guess they are optional.

Central location in eastern Berlin. Easy to reach all kinds of public transport. Clean and comfortable. Only basic kitchen utensils.

When we arrived the door code didn’t work, so we contacted Kater but had to talk to a chatbot first. Chat bots never work! Took a while before a real person helped us out (over the phone).

1. The apartment was really big.2. Well equipped.3. I did appreciate coffee capsules for the whole stay.4. Great location, specially if you go to a concert in Uber Arena.

1. The smell was overwhelming. There is a korean restaurant in the building and in the afternoon and at night the smell was impossible to bear with windows open. Closing them did not help much either.2. There are no inside doors between bedroom and the rest of the apartment.

The room and bathroom were very clean. The bed was comfortable. Minimum noise. Very convenient location and connection to U and S BAHN.

The entrance to the room is not pleasant. Dirty and unkept staircase, that leads to the room - could be definitely upgraded. Bad smell from adjoining Korean Restaurant is very annoying, while crossing the staircase.We had difficulty entering the room. The code was not working - at most times. Had to contact NUMA KATER for solving the problem. The door to the room is wooden and does not shut firmly.
