The man that work the front desk was the best in Germany.

Cozy and comfortable hotel in a residential area. Very good breakfast with many options. Near the Zoo and Charlottesburg castle.

It’s a bit far from central Berlin and attractions; but it’s only 5 minute walk to nearest metro and in 15 minutes you’re in the center.

While this hotel is off the beaten path, it is highly accessible to the subway if you need to get to anywhere in Berlin. The benefits of the location in a quiet neighborhood with trees and birds outweigh any potential inconvenience. Plus the best Sichuan food I have eaten in decades is only a block aeay.

The room does not have its own refrigerator, although you can rent a portable one. Similarly there is no safe.

Excellent value for money, very warm and polite personnel, fine and tasteful decoration, and excellent quality breakfast far above from what is expected from a 3star hotel; all these in a nice small winter garden.

It was close to the trains so we could walk to the hotel. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. Most importantly it was so clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel was very quiet so good sleeps. There was free coffee and tea in the lobby and we loved the cappuccinos. Breakfast was in a bright and cheerful place and there was a lot of choice. We enjoyed the muselai, yogurt and fruit. There was more choice than that and the staff was lovely there, too. We had our bicycles with us and they were kept in a safe underground garage. I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

We walked everywhere and found that the demographic near the hotel smoked A LOT. People smoked on the street walking, standing, or sitting in groups at cafés. It was not pleasant and was down right irritating because we don’t smoke. However, it was smoke free in our hotel as far as I could tell.

Breakfast was quite good. Reception staff was welcoming. Location was not very central but was not too far from U Bahn staton.

The room and furniture were just basic. The room was not cleaned every day and the bedding was not changed in a week. The cups in the room were disposable which created a very cheap look.

Great special deal I received through Booking.com with hotel in quiet suburban street but only 10 minutes walk to main city and less than that to Underground train.

I was placed into room 105 which adjoins the elevator so I had this noise to listen to throughout the day and early evening.

Value for money, comfortable spacious room with excellent staff to support with things in and around.

Room was spacious, bathroom was great. Location is close to underground stations. I also liked room where breakfast was served, like a winter garden. They give you a whole coffee-pot for breakfast! Staff is friendly and helpful.

Hotel is located near metro station and not far away from Zoologischer Garten. Hotel room was simple but good. Breakfast was excellent.

Room I stayed in was recently refreshed, comfortably appointed, bed was comfy. Staff friendly.It was very convenient for me as it's 3min away for visiting my family. For tourists reference, 25m walk from zoo/kudamm and a few different ubahn lines close by.

The floor to ceiling flocked faux wood decor was a choice... But every room is different so you might not have that one!

Nice, spacious, well-furnished room with balcony overlooking a beautiful garden. Nice breakfast. Convenient location, although in a rather quiet and not very “happening” part of the city.

Would have been nice to have an actual coffee maker in the room (like a little Nespresso machine)

Bad

Staff was very rude. I had made a mistake in my booking but staff was not accomodating in any way. Stole my money and I got nothing. They would not help me in any way with my situation. Very disappointing. Have not had worse hotel experience for five years at least.

Good breakfast

The personal looked tired and was not that service minded. The hotel is still using big keys, and not key cards. We are in 2024, and not in 1999.

Quite neighbourhood

The hotel building, elevator and our room looked very old, much older than I expected from the photos. The room was too small for 3 people. It was impossible to open the window and stay on the bed at the same time (the window frame was above the bed). No mini bar, no place to put valuable things, no air conditioning in the room that really needed that (air was very stuffy and we almost couldn’t breathe). We had to immediately book another hotel because simply couldn’t stay in this one.

The garden is excellent and a surprise in the middle of a city. We had a balcony that overlooked it as well. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast excellent and staff very friendly and helpful
