Quirky Pension hotel, just off of the Kurfürstendamm in the old West Berlin, with great bus links and the U7 outside. Basic breakfast of rolls, cheese, ham,eggs yogurt etc. in an attractive breakfast room . Great German pub/restaurant on the ground floor

Like many old Berlin buildings the floorboards creak, but that’s not the hotel’s fault

The hotel was nice and clean. Its a good value for money. The breakfast was also good. The location of the hotel is good since its pretty close to the U-Bahn and Bus stations and also has a lot of shops nearby.

There was no hot water to bath

The cleanliness of the room was not good. Moved bed as room was cold first night to find rubbish and lots of dust under the bed. The standard of room wasn't the best. Bathroom had tiles missing in shower and had a heavy damp smell in bathroom. The sink unit was exposed chipboard that the laminate had come off and they had painted it. The general condition of the room was below what would be expected for a hotel even a discount/cheaper one. Breakfast was included if you like cold meat and cheese then your in for treat otherwise don't bother no cereal or porridge either.

20mins walk from the station. Everything on your doorstep. Lovely, accommodating & helpful host. Beautiful area.

Super confidently located, old building from 190x with an elevator also from that time - impressive!Small but nice breakfast room with non-pretentious typical German breakfast offering everything needed.

The hotel has a great location. Just 200 meters to Kurfuerstendamm street and Adenauer Platz U-Bahn station. There are many great restaurants around that are open until midnight. I really enjoyed the classic Berlin restaurant that works in the same building since 1907.

We changed one of the beds layout because the walls were dirty and wanted to be closer to each other. The next day while we are enjoying our trip, we receive a call from the hotel, screaming in german (none of us speaks german and did say that during the checkin) that we must change the beds immediately. Obviously we were going to change the beds back to normal, that call was unnecessary and impolite. We did not like the accommodations, old and overused, the light bulbs were unscrewed and some did not work.

Great location (about 2km from the central bus station and less than 10 minutes walk from Charlottenburg train station), bed super comfortable, great staff, nice surroundings and the room was well cleaned. An extra positive point was that I got there around 12:30 and they let me do the check in and enter the room earlier.

I really liked the location of the hotel — it was only a 3-minute walk to the nearest U-Bahn (metro) station and about 7 minutes to the S-Bahn, which takes you to the center of Berlin very quickly. This made getting around the city super convenient. The neighborhood itself was pleasant, quiet, and felt safe. The breakfast was also quite good — a decent selection of items like fresh bread, eggs, cheese, and coffee, which was more than enough to start the day.

The main downside was the size of the bathroom — it was very small and felt a bit cramped. The rooms in general could use some renovation. Also, the floors were very squeaky, and it was easy to hear when someone walked past our room, especially at night, which affected the quality of sleep a little.

The hotel was cheap and the rooms were in good shape.

The room had a strange smell to them and one could hear what the neighbors were doing.

The vintage lamps

The staff very unfriendly. Nobody smiles, say good morning or speak English. They were all Russians.

Very pleasant hotel, close to public transport and lots of restaurants. Nice breakfast also.

The location was great. Breakfast was great. The only problem... I travlled with my kids and there was a tv only with Radio channels, no TV at all. For me it was fine but for the kids a bit weird.

The breakfast is ok The location I love the location close to the train station U7.

They need to change the bed. And they need to let the TV work.
