Pros +
- This is an old historic hotel with unique features. Guests who visit here should appreciate the age of the building and how well it has been maintained over its 93 years. It has updated conveniences, but can’t compete with newer hotels. Beds comfortable
- Beautiful classic resort style accommodations situated on the bay with coastal overlook. Staff were impeccable.
- Everything. The grounds were beautiful. We didn't partake, but there's a heated outdoor pool. The view of the bay is wonderful. The staff was very helpful. A FULL breakfast was excellent.
Cons -
- The elevator was working during our visit, but it was not working. It would challenging to get to the third floor with luggage, but Bellman is available
- Time to replace the mattresses.
- The cottage was very old. The furniture was old, ripped and dirty. The flooring had a lot of scratches and was replaced with plywood at places. There was smell of sewer gases in the bathroom on the first day which filled up the entire cottage.
