Part of one of the city’s most historic landmarks, the Murray Premises, this hotel overlooks the entrance to St. John’s Harbor and the Narrows. It features restaurants and boutiques, a daily continental breakfast and guestrooms with electric fireplaces. Free Wi-Fi and an private bathroom with a spa bath are offered in each room at Murray Premises Hotel. The traditionally styled rooms also include a small fridge; all offer a 43" LED TV. Hotel Murray Premises serves a continental breakfast each morning. It includes a selection of breads, bagels, and croissants in addition to cheeses, hardboiled eggs and fresh fruit. Restaurants and boutiques include The Gypsy Tea Room, EVOO in the Courtyard and Grand Time. The nightlife of George Street is less than 5 minutes’ walk from this hotel. Signal Hill National Historic Site is about 5 minutes’ drive, and St. John’s International Airport is 15 minutes’ drive away.

Cons -

We stayed in Room 301. Felt the tub/shower was a little unsafe getting in and out. Standing on the step up to the tub with wet feet is dangerous. We were ok but feel this is a safety hazard waiting to happen.
The beds are way to hard.
Mouse in the room and poor customer service. Staff put a sticky tape down only. No discount, no mention of moving to another room, no we are truly sorry, no bottle of wine or a $25.00 Tim?s card.

Location and unique characteristics of the rooms

We stayed in Room 301. Felt the tub/shower was a little unsafe getting in and out. Standing on the step up to the tub with wet feet is dangerous. We were ok but feel this is a safety hazard waiting to happen.
