Motel Rimouski

the location,the staff was nice and friendly,the room was clean.and the price was good.i wood stay there again

It is all about the view at this motel. Right on the water with a beautiful view.

The motel is very old and looks its age. The mini fridge is there but is hardly cool. No a/c and our room was very hot. We opened the sliding door to get a breeze but there was no lock on it so we could not leave it open overnight. Floors were very dirty.

Nice view of water and sunset. Near to shopping and groceries.

My suite smelled badly, likely cigarette smoke. Note that the receptionist did offer a refund, I had to refuse because I could not find any other availability, and I did my best with odour products from the nearby Canadian tire.

The location of the place was suitable for me as I was there for a hospital visit. The room was decent but I think I was

The room wasn’t worth the price I paid . I was a little disappointed

The room was clean and very comfortable. The view from the window was stunning. The price was very reasonable.

You can have a sea view near the beach without going out. It is a very quiet and peaceful place, so you can have some rest during the trip.

We were travelling with our baby, we needed a refrigerator and microwave, which came with the room we chose, so perfect for the price. And we chose a room with a balcony. We just enjoyed our view as the river was right in front of our balcony. The staff was also humble at the reception.

Nothing that I can think of, we were only there for a day. But it was worth it.

Absolutely nothing!!!

This place is a dump!!! Not clean, not even the sheets! It smelled strongly of some kind of cleaning solution. No lock on the balcony door. Bathroom door off its runner so wouldn't close.I did not stay there. Instead I put my luggage back in my car and got a room at the Days Inn!

Nothing. It was awful. The room was disgusting. Hairs and dirt all along the heater in the bathroom. It smelled of cigarettes, musty mold and regret. The bed night stand had hairs and dirt in the drawer. There was no view. Nothing like any of the pictures. They only have 3 rooms with outdoor access and the rest is just a dirty filthy place. You could taste the filth in the air. The bathroom fan was clogged with dirt. Gross. Gross gross.

Quaint older motel has been updated. Beautiful views nice room and bathroom!

Location, newly renovated

Even though newly renovated and moderate finishings, burnt light bulbs, beds were not clean, previous stay had a dog, hair in the beds, windows dirty…i mentioned to cleaning lady next morning, she only replaced towels and did not change or even make the beds!! Arrived late at night ao knowone to complain to

This place may have been renovated and/or sold recently. That would explain why there are so many differences between what it says on Booking.com and what you see when you get here. The address on the website is inaccurate, for a start. I had to call the host for help, and that was easy because she had spammed me many times and in many ways to nag me about arriving and paying before reception closed at 8. The number was in my missed calls file many timed. We got there at 7. What can I say that I liked? I like knowing for sure that I need not come all the way to Rimouski again.

I was expecting a room with two double or Queen beds and a sofabed or cot. I was expecting a kitchenette. I was expecting pet friendly based on my search default parameters on Booking.com, even when I don’t travel with a pet. They really need to update their information with the site to reflect the present circumstances (and the current address). The bathroom appears to have been refreshed recently and it has some nice finishes. But it looks like a DIY job and it’s not to code. The vent fan doesn’t actually vent and the new finishes are already starting to decay and peel from excessive moisture. But like I said, I am not planning to come to Rimouski again, so it’s all good.

Everything was good

I was at the hospital with my dying spouse and the hotel called me like 5 times to see when I was arriving so they could leave...

Right on the water. In a very residential area and lovely for a walk. Sunset stunning. Staff super nice.

The location. Walkable distance to a restaurant and a seafood store. The view of sunset. Right on St Lawrence. Accessible to water.

No air conditioning! Travelled during July. Sleep was bad during the three-night stay due to the unbearable heat in the room. It would have been nice if it was mentioned on their website. Would not have selected this place had I known there was no air conditioning.
