Pros +
- Clean. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
- The staff was excellent. Very welcoming, pleasant, informative about the surrounding area and available services and activities. The setting and scenery are beautiful.Large and spacious rooms!Loved being able to walk into town.
- The staff were accommodating - immediately moved us from second floor to first floor when I asked - and I liked being able to park right outside our door. The rooms are small but ours had a small fridge, coffee maker, and microwave to use. However, the bathroom sink is so shallow that the only way to get water for coffee was to fill the container from the tub faucet. The TV had a really good picture, but it was a bit small for the room. There was a build-up of dust on the lamp on the bedside table and some mold starting in the tub, so it would benefit from a good scrubbing all round but was ‘clean enough’.
Cons -
- Overpriced for the star level.
- Since we were traveling in off-season, there weren’t as many accommodation options to choose from. This is an older-style motel on the outskirts of town, so you can’t walk to the local shops that are open in high season. It would benefit from refreshing the beds that just aren’t very comfortable. They also need to insulate the units against sound transfer from other rooms beside and above. (The people above us woke us at 6 AM by moving around and we could hear people talking in a room beside ours.) Breakfast was a big disappointment. Other than hard-boiled eggs and yogurt, there was no protein available, though the croissant were very fresh.
- The door lock was broken and the towels etc were pretty thin.

The room was large and the location was perfect. It was close to town with a great morning view of Percé rock from em 9. It was across the road from a viewpoint.
The door lock was broken and the towels etc were pretty thin.
Was easy to find. Great views and breakfast was great and very tasty.
It needs work it’s dated but if you need a one night place to stay it’s fine. I would not stay a week there to visit the area. Sorry
Fast access, friendly staff, fridge in the room.
Great view of the rock. Breakfast was good.
Wifi was poor .
Breakfast was good, Perce is a lovely village .. a bit of a walk from hotel to village.. no sidewalks
Parking too tight. Room 7 had to park in front where two wings double floors were parking .. upper parking for a few guests only.. might be better to put lines in parking lot to ensure more cars have parking,
Very good
Most annoying toilet paper stand- kept falling over when getting some paper- not good when happened during the night. Also annoying was the bathroom door which frequently opened fully on its own, banging into the rad. Also not good when it happened at night. Wished there were bedside lamps.
Beautiful cottage with an amazing view of Perce. The cottage is spacious, clean and cozy and well equipped with all essentials.
There was nothing that I didn’t like
We rented the chalet. Was very large, amazing view, had anything you could need for a short or long stay. Was a very short drive to town. Great place to stay for a family or group.
No extra bedding for pull out couch (at least that I couldn't find), and check in was very confusing. You need to check in down the road, not where the address of the stay is located. Maybe in the summer everything is done differently, but there was no prior communication on where check in needed to happen so it became frustrating. Staff were very friendly and helpful when we called to figure out where to go though. Booking.com also posts that there is an included breakfast and that wasn't the case. It was what it was, otherwise fantastic stay.
Friendly staff
Very noisy... No microwave ... Outdated
Location is great with a wonderful view of the rock. The breakfast was sufficient, offering croissants, boiled eggs, and other items. The coffee was good, and Suzanne, the owner, was very nice. We were upgraded to a separate cabin, which was a lovely surprise
The floor in the cabin wasn't well swept, but it was a minor issue
Free breakfast
Didn’t have a full view of Rocher Percé as advertised, the steps to go in were sketchy, didn’t give us the room we booked, not enough lights in the room and no light switch so very inconvenient, no plug near the bed to charge our phones, there was a hole in the wall, the room was not really clean and very old would need some renovations, the water was randomly switching from cold to hot in the shower!!
I called the property several times cause they make extra charge on my bills. They refused to give any feedback so I asked Booking customer service for help. They charged me extra money for dogs and I don't have any dogs with me. There reply below shows a very bad attitude to solve the problem:We that these people reserve one night at a time. First night on booking 226,09$ second night 279,64$ and extra fee for the dog 20$ per day. Plus taxes. People has been charged 501,73$ breakfast included and they were supposed to pay 505,73$ on our record on booking.com . They stay at the hotel . We don't understand why we have to do a refund?
Very bad experience and not recommend you to stay. Has no service and after service at all.
Continental breakfast was really good. Excellent coffee
There was a shortage of towels.
Staff were fantastic, breakfast was value for money and well presented, location was good, room was large, AC worked well.
Accommodation recently renovated. Very clean. Nice location. Nice breakfast selection. Fairly close to downtown. Staff very friendly and helpful.
The tub drain stopper did not fit properly so it was very awkward for my wife to have a bath. Lamps need to be placed beside the bed so one can read before lights out. Plug-ins need to be beside the bed required to access medical devices for sleeping purposes.
Huge room, good view, great breakfast.
Too hot, a/c didn’t work.
The staff was great, the breakfast enough, the room was clean.
The room was advertised as a view room, but though the balcony provided a look outside, the view we hoped for was of the pierced rock, and all we got of that was a small glimpse on the side, through the trees. Next time I’d book the hotel across the street.
