This downtown Toronto hotel, in the Financial District, is just a short walk from Toronto's Theatre District. It features a café, British-style pub and contemporary accommodations. Cable TV with pay-per-view movies and a coffee maker are included in the rooms at The Strathcona Hotel. They are decorated with red accents and have European-inspired hardwood floors. Rooms with a flat-screen TV are available, and others have a desk and chair. The York St. Café serves breakfast and lunch in a relaxed atmosphere. The Pub has lunch and dinner specials, a big-screen TV and pool table. Union Station is a 6-minute walk from The Strathcona Hotel. The Rogers Centre, Air Canada Centre, Metro Toronto Convention Centre and CN Tower are within an 11-minute walk of the property.

- The front desk staff is fantastic. Friendly, fast and helpful. The room was one of the cleanest that I have been in.
- This isn¿t a hotel. It¿s a men¿s hostel. Changed from a hotel in October er of 2020.
