Days Inn & Conference Centre by Wyndham Renfrew

Our room was one that had been updated. Before getting to it, I was ready to take a loss and go elsewhere.

It’s old, antiquated, smells horribly due to the air freshening system they use. The carpets are dark, gloomy, outdated. There are dings and marks on walls, trim, elevator entries. The a/c unit was only slightly LOUDER THAN THE ROAR OF THE BATHROOM FAN!

Staff Bedding was comfy and clean.

Smelly. Broken hairdryer. Broken heater. Window was not secure someone could get in quietly during the night. Cold wind whistling through the room.

We found a crack pipe in our room. Not only was our room full of flies, the hallway ceilings have flies all over them. There are flies in the bathtub, mirrors, pillows, even inside the fridge. This place is shockingly gross, like a drug den.

There was a restaurant inside.

Everything else. The room looked clean but the sheets were dirty under. The desk had a hole and we can see the dirt and garbage hidden in there.

The price

There was no restaurant to eat at and the heat in the room took forever to warm up

the cleanliness of the hotel was a concern. Garbage overflowing outside of the hotel- dead insects inside my room- noise of HVAC system was very loud

Easy access

This has to be one of the dirtiest hotels ever, dead flies all over the room, flies clinging to the ceiling. Flies bombing you when you turn on a light. Hair all over bathroom floor. Key locks for the outside door on the side of the building do not work.

It was a nicely furnished room well equipped. A good shower with plenty of hot water. It looked clean.

I paid for breakfast and the restaurant was closed, they only offered a cold breakfast from the front desk. I was not happy about that.

Friendliness of staff when checking in.

Armoire in room was not secured to the wall. Made it feel a bit cheap, and potentially dangerous for kids.

The staff were incredibly lovely! They were friendly and very helpful.

It is definitely not the cleanest or most modern.

Room was nice and well maintained. Staff were courteous. Spacious rooms

Breakfast was just a packed breakfast which was ok but not enough. Maybe adding a bagel would be good.

Comfy beds. Great linen.

Room smelled musty. Elevator made scary noise when stopping.

Our room smelled very bad. They were fully booked or would have changed our room. They did offer a discount and said that Reno¿s are starting soon, with the carpets.

It was easy to find and there were plenty of USB charger ports in the room. Also having a fridge and microwave was very handy. The workout room was handy and clean. It gave me a chance to fill up my water bottles and not have to drink the tap water.

Much of the hotel is tired and dated. The carpets are stained and suspect. The pool was locked up. I would have rather stayed at a newer 2.5 star then pay for a 3 star that is this out of date. Fortunately the rate was decent.

This is really the only hotel in Renfrew.

Do not recommend! Room was not well cleaned, bed uncomfortable, noisy air conditioner. The promised breakfast was a bag of stale carbs. Restaurant was closed, staff had no knowledge of where to eat.

Friendly staff

The room was extremely noisy from mechanical systems outside our window and the room air conditioner within. We could clearly hear our neighbors speaking in normal tones through the wall. Overall, not a very pleasant night sleep.

Clean room with essentials available. No odors in room.

Very secluded place to find. No café or restaurant on site. Very few staff seen. The king-sized mattress in room 501 needs to be replaced.

Entrance carpets were not vacuumed at all. When we checked in there was nothing said about the breakfast options. . Dust on the ceiling. Fire alarm needs replacing
