Best Western Inn On The Bay

I told the staff at the front desk that I added 1 additional bfast but she made me back and forth just to settle my bfast bill instead of she can easily communicate with the restaurant staff. Not even saying sorry but she looked more upset than me!!

The fact they don't let us know the pool is closed. They should put on their website so that I won't book from the first place.

The location and the food from the restaurant was great.

The carpet seems to be dirty. The computer reservation system was down and that created some confusion and stress.

The location near the water enabled access to a lovely trail (though storm damaged, it was still nice). Outdoor seating was also appreciated during these pandemic times. Having a restaurant on site doing take-out is ideal.

The fridge area in the room was not cleaned, which is disturbing when you are given a piece of paper at arrival all about their COVID-19 cleaning protocol. View from the room looked at a dumpster and a vacant lot (with garbage).

Fire alarm went off at midnight approx and stayed on until 12.30 am. - We could not contact the staff by telephone - We could not shut off the beeping - we did not see or hear anything from the staff. -we did not hear anything from management.Very po

The hotel was just average in terms of cleanliness and room amenities. However,the price was higher than it should be for what you got

TV in the room had a buzzing sound. Room was not the impressive for the price.

The hotel looks brand new! The staff at the hotel and restaurant were so friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was excellent and good value. We came to go to Greenwood Cemetery, so being positioned on 2 ave was excellent.

Would have been nice if our room would have been closer to the elevator, as wide needs to use walker, but was just a minor inconvenience.

It was a beautiful inn, loved the bay view, beautiful and comfortable rooms

Only thing that got to me, during check in I have to hand the clerk my credit card. That’s fine and understandable. But then, once the clerk is done with my card, instead of handing it back or gently putting it on the counter he actually tosses the card on the counter. Almost like if it were a playing card. Everything else was great but that one action is disrespectful, not to mention it can harm the chip on my credit card because of the inn’s employee’s actions.

I love the cleanliness of the hotel and the staff was nice and helpful. My family and I enjoyed our stay It was very calming and peaceful.

Elevator was only available by using the other wing and pulling cart up a slope.

I booked and paid for a jacuzzi and fireplace room. Upon arrival at the hotel I was downgraded to a simple king sized room which was tired and in need of an update. When I spoke to the man at the front desk he was less than helpful telling me that that the rate was wrong and that the room I had booked didn’t exist in the hotel, he also questioned the validity of booking.com stating that he had never heard of it. After proving to him that I had booked the room, he told me that none were available but I could have my room for the last two days of our 6 night stay. He provided me with breakfast coupons for our stay and sent us on our way. On the 5th day we finally got into the room we had booked and sure enough both the jacuzzi and fireplace were there. Not sure who dropped the ball on this but it certainly wasn’t me.
