Pros +
- Relatively inexpensive
- Big footprint 1-bedroom with fully equipped galley kitchen. Older property but updated well - not fancy but modern and clean. All appliances worked. Clean furniture in good condition. Lots of lighting. Dining room table for four. Secure on-site parking.
- Excellent location for walking downtown Ottawa. Restaurants,  bars, etc. very close by. Wonderful front desk staff, pleasant and helpful, she made you feel like you were coming home when returning to hotel.
Cons -
- False advertising. Hotel¿s website said that they had some smoking rooms. Not true. Fine for smoking (even on the balcony) was $250 fine. Designated smoking areas were next to garbage dump. Room was dated. They had actual keys instead of key cards.
- I visited on the coldest day of the year and woke up shivering from a cold room, but that's probably my fault for not re-setting the thermostat.
- Housekeeping and maintenance disorganized. Rm 311 bathroom sink taps scalding. Take your own condiments, sharp knives, paper towels, etc. Full kitchen not well stocked. Oven doesn't heat to temp. Park at Cooper and Cartier lot. $32 for 3 days.
