Located off Highway 401, this family-run motel in Kingston, Ontario is just 10 minutes' drive to Fort Henry National Historic Site. It is equipped with air conditioning and in-room satellite TV. A small fridge and microwave are provided in all nonsmoking rooms at Lord Nelson Motel. Each room comes complete with coffee-tea-facilities, an private bathroom and free WiFi. A 24-hour A&W Restaurant and a gas station with a convenience store are located next door to the Lord Nelson Motel. Kingston’s waterfront and Queen's University are both 10 minutes’ drive away.

Pros +
- Very clean and tidy. Large TV screen. Usable mini fridge. Very close to highway, but far enough away that you don't hear traffic. Next to gas and large convenience store. Close to places to eat breakfast.
- I like that they have a late check in option. They were very accommodating. Room was clean, Bed was very comfortable & this motel is easy access off the hwy. Towels were soft & smelled like gain laundry soap!!!
- Quiet, located near major hwy, staff was ready to our arrival, clean.
Cons -
- Check in time required was pretty early at 11:00 pm. Even an extra hour would be helpful.
- Bathroom was clean, but where paint had obviously been peeing on the walls, prep wasn't done & they just painted over it so it just looks bad.
- The only improvement would be softer pillows
