Pros +
- The staff was very nice.
- The area is well located, however the entrance is now on a road the city closed. So, entry is a bit tricky.
- This hotel is in a fairly old building right in downtown Guelph. The location is terrific - but, of course, being in an old building, its decor isn't wonderful. Some of the furniture has been around for a long time.
Cons -
- Hotel looks almost run down, our room smelled weird, the breakfast was TERRIBLE. Pre-cut stale bagels that I couldn¿t even pull apart. And the bed was like sleeping on a rock.
- It¿s an old building, floors creak, and the a/c unit was extremely loud.
- Parking is a bit problematic - although when the hotel lot is full, they pay for parking across the street in a public lot.

Friendly staff. Good locations but there are people leaving the bars next to it.
Free Parking area was full and wasn¿t offered a discount or even a later check out which I asked about - there was city parking a block away. Staff was very friendly! Place looked like it was worried about parties and a lot people at the bars nearby.
To be honest there was nothing I liked about this hotel. I would never stay here again and will not recommend it to anyone.
The room was dirty. Fingerprints everywhere, on TV, doors etc. Bathtub faucet dripped all night. Shower walls dirty, crack and mold on ceiling. Blinds in window dirty and toilet moved when sat down. A very dissatisfied and disgusting experience.
Clean, staff gave us the number of a taxi.
Limited parking. Wanted us to use Uber. Had to leave car where we visited and get a taxi to hotel and back next morning. Were told the only parking available was several blocks away and would have to pay to park, free parking further away.
Friendly staff and nice, friendly people running the Bistro too. Nice, warm, comfortable bed.
Unfortunately, my family was there and caused me a lot of grief, not the hotel's fault.
location free parking
required deposit at check-in!! took 15 minutes to check-in (too long) they insisted to inspect the room prior to check out
Location was great for , my dance computation
Everything, was bad the hotel should be taken off the map, and be totally renovated. Rundown, smell of smoke, and was stated no smoking , needs new microwave and fridge. Would never stay there again.should not be closed down.
clean room, excellent staff
the hotel and room is outdated but very very clean. Clean is more important to me than the look of a room.
Great location, right in the middle of downtown. Lot of places within walking distance.
A bit old look.
Location. Staff. Room.
Lack of breakfast facilities
All of the above, good location. close to restaurants . The bed was comfortable, staff were very friendly and helpful when asked certain questions.
Location is good near lots of things like food and bars. We went to a concert so it was a 5 minute walk to music hall.
The heater was noisy and part fell off when we shut the door. The drain stopper was broken so to pull it out u had to use something to pop it up. Couldn't pull the bathroom curtains down any further to cover Window.
This is the kind of place you book for the location, and it ticks all of the boxes.
The location was the best thing, and that is was relatively cheap.
Bad area of town. Hotel was very sketchy. Would never have stayed had I been alone
NOTHING!
I REFUSED TO STAY THERE AND WILL NEVER CONSIDER RETURNING.

It was very clean, the staff especially Komal, were incredibly great and helpful, it’s a bit dated but I felt very safe there. A staff member even followed me outside at night to ensure my safety. I so appreciated that! I’d stay again.
The toilet seat was usable but didn’t quit fit. I’d also love a plug for the bathtub. But everything else was fine with excellent service from staff
