Nice pool. Updated
The hotel and room were both very clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable. We wanted to watch a hockey game and were pleased that there was both a large TV, probably 50? to 60? size and also sports net channel so we?re able to watch game.
The only redeeming quality of this hotel was the staff - they were very helpful despite the absolute chaos of the renovations taking place during our stay

Top Tips
- Expect Ontario's 13% HST on hotel bookings, and in Burlington, a 4% Municipal Accommodation Tax may also apply. Confirm the total cost (rate plus all taxes and additional fees) before booking to avoid unexpected charges.
- Book in downtown Burlington near Brant Street or Spencer Smith Park to stay within a 10-15 minute walk of the waterfront, the GO Station, and a wide selection of restaurants and galleries. Most routes offer step-free sidewalks suitable for wheelchairs and strollers.
- For late-June stays during the Sound of Music Festival, book 4-8 weeks ahead to secure availability. Expect higher rates and possible minimum-stay requirements during the festival weekend; verify cancellation policies before reserving.
- On-site parking in downtown Burlington often costs CA$10–CA$30 per night (about $7–$22 USD). Confirm availability, ask about accessible parking if needed, and check for any street parking restrictions prior to arrival.
- Halton Region tap water meets strict Canadian drinking-water standards. Bring a reusable bottle to refill at hotel water stations or ice machines and save on single-use plastics.
- Under Ontario's AODA, hotels must provide accessible services, but features differ by property. Confirm step-free access, roll-in showers, visual alarms, or TTY phones when booking and reconfirm 48-72 hours before arrival.
- Lakeshore West GO trains connect Burlington GO to Toronto Union in about 40 minutes off-peak, with departures every 15-30 minutes most of the day. Check schedule variations for holidays or late evening trips; GO trains offer accessible boarding.
- For remote work, choose a hotel with advertised business amenities and request actual in-room Wi-Fi speed—aim for at least 50 Mbps. Ask if wired internet or a business center is available, as some properties offer enhanced speeds for a daily fee.
- Compare fares between Uber, Lyft, and local taxis to avoid surprises, as unmetered street pickups may have unclear rates. Confirm payment methods before your ride; request accessible vehicles if needed via app or phone.
