Altona Hotel

Quiet and clean

Location was right where we needed to be

Consistency between rooms. We had 5 rooms and one of the rooms had very uncomfortable beds. One guest switched rooms with another the second night and couldn’t believe how much more comfortable it was

The location ofvthw hotel is great. I was traveling for a job at the local canola oil plant, so the driving to work was 3 minutes.

The price for the single room with two beds was too high as I needed something simple to spend a night between two shifts at work. Needed something smaller and cheaper..

The price was good. Although very simple, the breakfast was unexpected so it was a bonus. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

There was little to no hot water in the am. The climate control was very confusing to use. Although the rooms themselves were nice and clean the common rooms were dated.

The location was good. Everything was clean and the staff very nice.

The beds were not the greatest and could use updating.

Great location close to the border. It was a great price. Bathrooms were updated and are very clean.

Cleanliness of the rooms.Overall, it is a very good place to stay: very kind staff, clean rooms, and good location.

The pool is not working all the time. Hot tub activation not working on Thursday and the shower drain has hair that was there since the first day of our use of the pool.We extended for another day and moved to a standard room, it was clean but old. There is rust stain on the tub, the entry rug is damaged and toilet flush not working well.My suggestion: Upkeep the facilites and update a bit the room fixtures.

We did not have breakfast at the hotel. Location was close to venue

very dim in the room.

I just like when I arrive the service had ready my room and the other thing is there was not pet's in the hotel because I don't like animals in a motel or hotel ???

When I check out the we're ready to serve i didn't had to wait??

Really liked the location and how there were numerous restaurants within a 5 min walk. I had an exam to write remotely during our stay and the wifi was stable through the exam. Room was very clean. We had an extra person join our group and were able to add a cot which was very much appreciated.

The staff was really helpful whenever I needed something. The food at the bar/restaurant was really good too.

Parking was a little odd for me since I was staying in the building with the pizza place...

It’s a great location good services from pool to location and the bar. It was a great time and truly enjoyed the staff and rooms. The staff were all very caring and nice, was able to fully enjoy my time because staff was so kind

There wasn’t much explanation or understanding on my part of where our hotel room was but that was 100% just me not paying attention. Once I understood it made a lot of sense. Excited to have an opportunity to stay again.

Clean quiet place to sleep for very reasonable price

We stayed in the private house. I was impressed how clean it was and nothing was forgotten. Full fridge as we were travelling with food was helpful. The dryer worked for our wet swim items. Hairdryer, yard,

Helpful staff. Clean facility

No breakfast available

Clean room, modern/up to date room styling

Somewhat noisy in-window air con unit; shower leaked water all over bathroom floor; bathtub stained/discoloured (although clean)

Location is great. Clean rooms. Comfy bed.

High price for the location. No breakfast

It is a nice place to stay. The staff there were very friendly, and helpful. The internet was fast. If I have a chance, I will book the hotel again.

We did not have breakfast. We had lunch in the bar the day we arrived and it was good.

I am allergic to feathers. I did not realize the pillows were feather until we got back from our event at 1am. Other than that it was a great stay.
