Moosomin Country Squire Inn

It was easy to get to and to get back on the highway next morning.

The hall leading to the room smelled musty. The room seemed ok but I always have to watch those things since I have asthma.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable.

There was an odor in the room. Perhaps from a cleaner.

Rooms were very date 30years old

The instructions on how to access the room were confusing. The photos of the rooms on the Booking site do not reflect the condition of the actual place. The room was dirty. The bathroom faucet, electrical socket and bathtub plug were disgusting. The coffee maker was disgusting. The bedspread was ripped. There were no available electrical outlets - one was overfilled with plugs and the other was behind the gross couch. There were flies in the room. There was no blow dryer. The couch was covered in a cheap elasticized couch cover. The curtain rods were askew. The front door of the motel and the door from the hallway where the rooms are located were locked at 11 p.m. when the one employee left the premises for the night until 7 a.m.. There was a sign on the door with a number to call in "extreme emergencies only". There was another door to the outside at the end of the hallway of rooms. It did not have a latch or a lock. It was accessible to anyone at any time from the parking lot. This means that, while guests slept in their rooms between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. they did so in a building that was not secured and unstaffed. The restaurant is closed. Probably a good thing based on the cleanliness of the rooms.

Cheap, hot showers . Basic, ok for the money. Staff was excellent.

Very noisy AC . Old bed/towels, floor had a soft spot. Door locked itself after a couple of seconds ( weird)

The front area and outside were clean. The restaurant looked decent. The bed sheets were clean.

The room was dirty, the couch had a weird cover over it that didn’t fit and so we didn’t use it. We didn’t know what they were trying to hide, especially since the fabric chair was so gross. I sat on our electric cooler because I was afraid to use the furniture.

Absolutely nothing good about this place

Motel really needs some work done in the rooms. Quite dated

AC didn't work properly, old drapes, rug needed replacing..

Super close to everything that Moosomin has to offer, friendly staff, good price

The locks on the door were a little weird, no deadbolt which I’d prefer but it still felt pretty safe

It wa clean, felt safe and rooms were very nice. Staff Miles went absolutely above and beyond to accommodate a late arrival and ensure we were comfortable. We were coming from Burlington ON on that leg of a trans-Canada trip and it was the best rest we could have asked for. Beds are comfortable also.

The bed was comfy and room was clean

Walls are super thin, can hear people talking as if there are none. Was in the room beside laundry and while the machines were running it shook the room

The motel was clean, a bit dated but in good condition. The staff were nice and efficient. It was perfectly acceptable for an overnight stay for a rest along the way. The price point aligned well with the accommodations.

The shower was not useable due to black mould in the caulking. Coffee pot filthy, unable to use. Beds were comfortable. Room and bathroom were clean.
