Lamplighter Inn

The reasonable price.

Very small soap bar provided. Towels felt rather rough. There was no box of face tissues and no stir sticks for the coffee.

This motel has very friendly staff and is very well-situated across from a multi-use trail and some lovely prairie scenery. There are four pokestops within a short walking distance. The price is excellent for what you get. Free wifi and breakfast!

Beds are a little stiff.

There was no phone service and no breakfast

The floor mats in the bathroom - a small thing but a welcome one, especially when getting up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night.

Friendliness

No second bedside table on other side and difficult to get in and out of bed on that side as it was very close to the wall

Very Clean rooms, comfy beds and pillows, perfect for what we needed ☺️

The staff was excellent. Like sitting on benches at night outside room. Great location. Rooms were clean. Great price.

Parking was little strange with angle parking on sides and straight parking at end.

The staff were very helpful to ensure that we had a wonderful stay. They would ask us each time we met them if we needed anything. The room we stayed in was recently renovated and very clean. We were really happy with our experience with this motel.

Nothing that I can think of.

Owner went out of his way to be of assistance. He even gave my husband a ride to hockey arena as there is no taxi service in Three Hills. He was very responsive to our requests.

Close proximity to hospital

The bed smelled like feces. I got in late and was exhausted. The sheets appeared clean, so I assumed the smell was coming from the mattress and slept on the other side of the bed. The next night, I was going to ask for a different room, but when I pulled into the parking lot, all of the rooms except mine and another that was occupied, were gutted, with all furniture, mattresses, etc lining the sidewalk and out in the parking lot. That informed me that I would not be able to switch rooms. When I got into the room, the same smell greeted me, and I saw that no one had been in to make the bed or add more coffee packets/cups. A very disappointing trip, to say the least!

The very comfortable beds

I understand it’s under renovation but putting the old furniture in the parking lot is a eyesore

Clean rooms. Owners were in the process of upgrading the furniture.

TV had “No Signal”, lamps didn’t have any bulbs.

Staffs are friendly, Room was decent to sleep for 3 nights for workers.

Rooms were spacious, upkept and clean.

My room didn't have a hairdryer.

Good location. Friendly staff. Good price.

The bed was a bit egg shaped.

As always, front desk was more than helpful, exceptionally accommodating and friendly! I extended my stay a couple of times and was given a discount on my room!

Would be awesome if they brought back the muffin, fruit and yogurt breakfasts that they used to serve , but always having access to coffee is a good thing ?

The room was fairly updated and modern. Clean.I was concerned about noise when I noticed we were right beside the hospital but we never heard a thing!!

The AC/ Heating unit was loud

The price. It was clean

Couldn’t understand the coffee maker as the coffee packs don’t say how much water you need. The towel bar by the sink was busted off. Just made a bad first impression. If it was fixed it would have looked better.

Clean and quiet. Old school Motel that has been nicely renovated.

It was fine

The room was very clean

The motel is very old and needs updating. The bed was uncomfortable with a lack of pillows. There was nowhere to park in front of the room due to long term rentals taking multiple spots. The employee at the liquor store was rude and dismissive of concerns.
