Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites - Slave Lake By IHG

Location was good

Had to change rooms because initial room was still dirty, food left in fridge, shows a hot tub in pictures was not available, food items missing from breakfast bar that were shown in pictures upon booking, price did not reflect conditions shown in picture

It was very good experience. Very clean, friendly staff, very good breakfast. Big parking lot.

It was good experience without complaints.

Very clean. Bed was comfortable

Broken elevator

Gave me the wrong room I had booked room with jacuzzi And was not supplied.

Spotless room. Excellent decore, very comfortable bed. Great breakfast with lots of choices. Pleasant staff.

The fridge was noisy so I unplugged it.

Friendly service, clean room, good selection for continental breakfast

The A/C wasn't working in our room and the window was COVERED in black flies...it was disgusting!

The breakfast is not as good as before.

This motel met all my expectations for my stay

No there wasn't

Gross

Room was very dirty, dust on all the appliances, jacuzzi tub was not clean full of hair, and the room was filled with fruit flys. Asked the front desk if I could be accommodated for the mess and just received a simple no even after paying over 320.00$!!

Location

The hotel is very dated. stuck in the 90's. The room was dirty and had a unpleasant smell when disturbed. The bathrooms were not cleaned well at all. Hotel main entrance and elevator dirty. Air conditioner did not work

I liked that the showerhead was attached to a hose.

The plastic forks at breakfast were curved and bendy in a way that made them awkward to use. Metal utensils would have been better both for ease of eating and for reducing plastic waste.

Breakfast was OK and did not expect more. The location was great for what I needed

The bathtub drain needed a fix.

Slave lake is a good place to stop when driving through. The hotel was practical and clean. breakfast was terrible. Coffee to go was good.

Pleasant

Exercise room was untidy and small

Breakfast and staff were great

Curtains could have been able to close to block out street lights.

For whatever reason, hotels in Slave Lake are incredibly expensive. The price I paid for my room created very high expectations. For the most part these expectations were met.

I brought my high level of expectations to the breakfast room. The food was very good, but I was surprised the only meat on offer was sausages. My real complaint, however was having to eat my breakfast on a paper plate with plastic utensils. Disposable plates and utensils are out of character for the type of hotel this establishment aspires to be.

Spacious
