Boasting an on-site restaurant and bar, this Canmore property provides free Wi-Fi. A mini refrigerator is included in each guest room. This property does not offer air-conditioning or elevators Canmore city center is 2 minutes’ drive away. A cable TV and a work desk are offered in all rooms at The Drake Inn. A coffee maker is also included. Rocky Mountain views are offered from each nonsmoking room. Pasta, burgers, salads and various appetizers are offered at The Drake Pub and Restaurant. Guests can enjoy happy hour drink specials, sports games on 14 TVs and nightly events such as karaoke and live music on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings until 02:00. Canmore Nordic Center Provincial Park is 10 minutes’ drive away. Banff National Park is 16 mi from The Drake Inn.

- The inside was much nicer then the outside portrayed. The room was clean, and for the price in Canmore it was up to expectations.
- I really liked that there were large bottles of soap and shampoo that would be used for multiple guests, still sanitary but less wasteful
- The view
Cons -
- The cleaning supplies they use were quite strong, and my sons eyes burned a fair bit from the pillow cleaning supplies. We had to air the pillows outside before we could use the pillows. The hotel also has very little parking.
- No air conditioning Dates hotel
- We have been visiting the Drake for decades to have their burgers (bison and beef), unfortunately the menu has changed since our last visit, and although the burgers we had were good, they were not the delicious hand-made burgers of the past.
