Comfort Inn & Suites Calgary - University

The location to the hospital

It was outdated and the bed was hard you had to plug your phone into the tv to charge it

Staff were ruder than rude. Very short and quick to temper. they dont listen or go out of their way for guests

good location to the ctrain, good deal on the room. Great breakfast included. Superfriendly and helpful staff. I love it here.

one weird thing.. the door to the pool mechanical room could use a new coat of paint, but other than that, everything has been above my expectations for the price/quality I spent.

It is by a train station, which means transient people, which in my case, my car was broken into and items were stolen. Very depressing way to end a vacation.

The late-night front desk guy was very kind when checking in.

Hotel definitely needs to be fixed up. Cracked lamp shades. Patches of paint missing on the walls. Marks on the walls. Bathroom had hairs. Just didn't feel clean.

Nice clean room

Wish the staff had cleaned thebroom the 3rd and 4th nights. Front desk brought us towels for shower

Changing bed shed and towels without requesting every day

The ice machine is not working, we informed them but did not get repaired

Location Parking Breakfast

Very good location with the LRT right across from the hotel. Nice clean hotel with pool and exercise rooms that were open. Nice breakfast in the morning which included scrambled eggs with sausage or bacon.

Like many hotels they are not equipped to handle unruly guests. Our stay on the third floor included slamming of doors , running and basically unruly kids left unsupervised by their parents. I had to lean into the kids to calm down, staff wouldn¿t help.

Location

Staff not adjusting. No early checkin provided despite repeated requests.

What I liked best was how understanding the front end staff was about switching my room due to cleanliness to a different room after I had arrived and checked in.

Well, my second room did not come equipped with an iron. However it did have an ironing board. Except the ironing board was very dirty , as were the carpets along baseboards and the linen in hideabed. I also found an old DQ cup along skirt of the bed.

Missing phones or broken, broken bathroom fans, the water in the shower smells moldy, no blowdryers the breakfast isn't like it use to be, there's only egg and sausage available and they are extreme dried out eggs the saskatoon location is 1000000x better

Location

Poor breakfast, torn bed sheet, lack of towels, no Kleenex in room, key cards not working, fridge froze everything. Will not be staying here again.

Staff was friendly and apologetic at the front desk.

Was charged $40 more than this website quoted, upon arrival First room was very dirty, AC, lamps didn't work. Was moved to a different room that was better but not 100%. Hotel did NOT look as advertised, needs cleaning, fresh paint. Holes patched

The size of the room and heating and ventilation

Does not accept cash

Says theirs a shuttle service there was not one. No one had answers for me and no refund

Location

Lighting as the ceiling light wasn¿t working and maintenance man said that it could not be replaced

The room was big and good location

There was a smell and the corridors were dirty

Located right next to the c-train. Easy access to down town Calgary

Obviously was not cleaned properly before we showed up. Not good with the r pandemic happening still.

had a bucket of water in the room, filled to the brim, stinky, unsure of the material in it. Had to call someone. Housekeeping definitely had not entered the room before us.
