Park Inn by Radisson, Quesnel

First of all I was NOT given the Hotel I wanted. I was scammed into YOU choosing where I stayed and that is FRAUD. I wanted to stay at the Ramada which was one block from my function. I did not use your hotel Super8. I booked in at the Ramada.

I had called the Super8 to arrive on the Thursday. I arrived and the manager could not book me in. I was pissed. The hotel looked crappy and out of the city - not where I wanted. I left and booked in elsewhere. I want a refund of Cdn$----.

The owner was nice

Very old hotel room.. old bed sheets.. very bad and old bed.. carpet looked like it was 50 years old and had numerous stains on it.. didn¿t even stay the night, ended up paying to stay at another hotel.. would not recommend anyone Ever stay there.

Front desk staff helpful and friendly , housekeeping attentive to our needs and kept the place clean daily, even with the Covid situation looming. Room was dated but very clean , beds were comfortable, free WiFi, free parking.

Exterior looks a little run down, gutters dirty and overflowing with debris, lots of burnt out lights in parking and light covers filled with dead bugs, both bedspreads had stains and were dated, presence of mold in tub surround, leaky tub faucets, etc.

The location was perfect. The price was best in the area comparatively. The bed was comfortable and the AC unit was quiet.

No breakfast available during our stay (which is understandable due to Covid-19) but a voucher for a breakfast anywhere else was not offered either. Rooms do not come with shampoo, conditioner, lotion.

It had a homey appearance and though old it was very clean and the staff were very friendly

No, we were happy with everything, there was even a couch to sit on which was great as I hate sitting on a bed

Rooms need your be completely updated and repaired.Grounds need TLC.

How unclean the room was . Obviously being in renovations, room should have been recleaned before renting . Gyproc dust , floor felt dirty to walk on. Dust on counters. Bed too small forThe wall unit that has the bedside tables- couldnt reach from in bed . Couch was pushed up against wall, blocking the heat source, to large to push onto other wall. . Electrical items from renovation shoved in a drawer…. This room was obviously not ready to rent yet.

Nice guy running that front desk. Bedding was nice. Beds were comfy but too soft.

Bathroom water stunk like sulphur. Renos were poorly completed. Nowhere to hang jackets. No dresser or closet. Bathtub is old and beat up and gross. Holes in the wall where electrical plugs were removed.

Some fruit would be nice. There were 2 bagels…the one I had was a bit stale

The bedspreads had multiple stains on it and on the sheets, I changed rooms and the bedspread there was stained and disgusting. The rooms themselves had unfinished linoleum floors with gaps, the walls had holes drilled through them to the outside for the TV cable, the chain lock was installed improperly and the chain didn't reach the clasp on the door. This was the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in. I brought my sleeping bag in and used it. The staff gave me a 2nd room but it was as bad as the 1st room, I didn't ask but there was no offer of reimbursement or discount. I will not stay again

Cheap option in quesnel but definitely worth it to pay a little more for something better

Looks like they newly renovated but the Reno’s look really scabby. The bathroom door wouldn’t close, the tiles around the tub had a visible cavity behind them into the wall, no electrical outlet cover on the ac unit plug, and cable stretched across the entire room loose for the tv just thrown on top of the entertainment stand. Not to mention I booked a queen bed suite and only got a double that was extremely stiff.. The night stands are built attached to the wall so there was the space for a queen bed but they decided to slam in a double instead and looks off because of the unused space… They clearly renovated for as cheap as possible and almost feels worse than it did before the renovations.
