Located in the center of Prince Rupert’s tourism area, this elegant hotel features a waterfront restaurant and hot tub. It is1 block away from Adventure Tours, offering whale and bear watching tours. Each room at the Crest Hotel features views of the city or the harbor. A pair of binoculars is provided to enhance the view through the large picture windows. The rooms are equipped with cable TV and free Wi-Fi. Cardio machines and a mounted TV are part of the Crest’s on-site gym. Guests can relax in the hotel's steam room. The Waterfront Restaurant serves North Coast cuisine and offers an international wine list. Charley’s Lounge features a headed terrace and is open for lunch and dinner. The Museum of Northern British Columbia is 1 block from the Prince Rupert Crest Hotel. Ferries to Digby Island, Port Hardy and a train to Prince George are a 5 minutes' drive from the property.

Pros +
- Staff was excellent as was location, dinning room/bar had great atmosphere,,,views excellent
- Best option available in that location. Very centrally located. Beautiful view
- Beautiful decor and a great staff. Room was very clean and well stocked with the normal essentials.
Cons -
- While there were many positives regarding this hotel, bathrooms were defintely outdated and are in need upgrad to be in sync with other aspects of hotel/service and justify rates
- Not all of the front desk staff were very friendly or kno
- The downside was the lack of air conditioning and a VERY warm night. While there was a fan in the closet to use, it would only work on the lowest setting after much trial and error. The staff also were not familiar with the local ferry or parking in town.
