So many barking dogs in other rooms

Door stuck a little bit and was difficult to close without a loud noise.

Newly renovated rooms were very nice.

It was quite noisy throughout the night. Could hear people outside and in the hallways and doors slamming shut.

This is a nice little motel. The view of the beautiful little town it is in is breathe taking especially after a light rain. The staff is very nice but quiet and do their best to accommodate any special request around check in and out.

The beds are a little hard.

Rooms are tight together with paperthin walls, you can hear everything around you.

Not very sound proof and hot.

We stayed for total 2 nights but on separate days. We went on a 3 night kayaking tour on a deserted island and since we had a briefing on Friday evening and also had to leave on Saturday early morning to get to the island by water taxi, we chose to stay in Dalewood Inn which was close to all the venues. They kindly let us leave our rental car at their parking slot until we came back from the tour on Tuesday evening - without charge! How nice of them! And also the young receptionist was extremely friendly!

Not sure about our room being located above the liquor store. It was not that noisy so it was ok.

Nice modern rooms and bathrooms, comfortable bed, a nice fridge and microwave in the room, good sized bath tub, friendly staff, strong wife and right near the water and all amenities!

It was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was very close to the ferry terminal for our 7:25 am departure. The room and bathroom were quite small but it was what we expected from our booking and good for one night.

To me, the pillows were a little uncomfortable. Although there was a coffeemaker in the room, there were no cups and no regular coffee.

The location was amazing. We were able to walk to catch our tour and to get food. The room was small but very clean and well set up. It was nice having a full size fridge.

The walls were very thin and we could hear the neighbors. We never saw any staff except for when we checked in.

The location was perfect for our bear watching trip from Port McNeill Harbour.

The bed was too close to the wall on one side, making it difficult to get up in the night.

But noisy early evening....we were right above the beer and wine store. Given that the hotel was nearly empty assigning that room could have been avoided
