Sea Edge Beachside Hotel

Good location. You can walk right out onto the beach, as advertised. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

I booked online for 3 nights. Told that fresh towels were available on request, fine, but there was no cleaning service either. Very noisy late into the nights as we were right above the bbq area. Sauna not available. Cheap, thin doors. Expected more.

I've stayed in this hotel before and returned because I really had enjoyed my stay.

There were new TVs installed that I found too difficult and complicated to navigate. Also, the side table lamp wasn't working. Apparently it needed to be changed which meant someone else had to enter my room, I declined the as I wanted to be alone.

There was one very minor issue of communication break down that is not worth mentioning. Hotel policy states that if you are arriving after 12 am you need to pick the keys from Coast hotel. We arrived late because of an earlier ferry we missed. We warned reception in advance and the person at reception told us to follow policy which we sid, except that he decided to stay later because he was preoccupied with work. He forgotten tell us or the reception and there was bit of confusion there that was eventually resolved

The beach! Games room is great and coffee bar.

Location was excellent. Went for the Finnish sauna and cold plunge next to the hotel. Great to walk the beach and boardwalk. Nice to have the kitchen facility. Golf experience was nice. Great lobby and coffee machine!

Prefect location with a direct sea view and town center at a walkable distance.

Soundproofing of rooms very poor despite motel having been recently remodelled.

Well looked after.

A small detail but the hot and cold lines were reversed on the bathroom vanity tap. Right was hot and left was cold.I wish there was access to the coffee room earlier in the morning. It was still closed at 7:40am.

People on bottom floor smoking coming up to top floor staff told them to move but they only moved a small distance and still got second hand smoke. This could be addressed with clear instructions or specific further away smoking area

Newly renovated, modern, clean with great access to beach. Can’t wait for our summer stay.

Everything. We stay here every time we visit the Island. Awesome view, close to stores, very clean and comfortable and a very well stocked kitchen area for eating in.The grounds are also equipped with a BBQ, fire pits and lovely outdoor furniture to relax on.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the location and the cleanliness of the room. I stayed in room 210 and the view was superb. The room was very nicely appointed and my only comment for improvement would be adding a hairdryer but that's just icing on the cake. I was VERY impressed by the quality of the towels and complimentary toiletries. Being a scent sensitive person, it was such a delight to find all of them had a mild and pleasant scent. I also had fun with the fancy coffee machine in the lobby! The blackout blinds in the room were very effective and appreciated.

I will add something if I think of it but for my first visit it was good across the board. I don't travel that often so I am not certain how it compares to other hotels. All I can share is that I was really satisfied and delighted with my stay.

Every room had a view, and the grounds offer campfires pits, bbq and nice seating. The beach is straight out in front.Classic old motel that has been refurbished.

Absolutely everything. The ocean view was great. The lounge and outdoor facilities were wonderful.

The long open rooms allow a maximum rooms that front onto the beach.

The lighting in the rooms was not well thought out - bright overhead light at table/couch area and no light at bed area. The bedside light on one side only did not function. A bit more thought into the room arrangement would create more privacy - the blind is opaque so when rolled down the beachview is gone but up allows full view of the whole room from the sidewalk that runs along 10’ from all rooms.
