Featuring access to long stretches of sandy beach, this Parksville resort offers an indoor pool and a sand volleyball court. Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park is located next to the resort. A private balcony or patio offers a view of the forest or ocean at each bright apartment at Beach Acres Resort. A fireplace, TV and fully equipped kitchen are provided. Free Wi-Fi is also available. A sauna, 3 tennis courts and a hot tub are all open for enjoyment at Beach Acres. Children can also play at the on-site playground and games room. The family-owned Black goose Inn serves meals and drinks in a pub-style setting. Guests can enjoy dining by a log fire or with beautiful ocean views. - Quiet,nice place to relax
- I like the price, the kitchen is reasonably well equipped, the 2nd room has twin beds, the living room is cosy, there's a fireplace with fresh cut wood, and the bed was very comfortable.

Cons -
- Cottages could use some upgrading age wise,furniture not that clean.Unit didn¿t seem like it was sanitized,was fairly clean but not totally.Also front desk staff didn¿t tell us their restaurant was closed.We ended up walking back to unit and went out eat
- We arrived at 7:45 and were told we were lucky, the office was almost closed, which would have been a huge problem for us if we'd arrived after 8. Also, the bathroom fan is very loud and doesn't seem to do anything.
