Pros +

The feel is very comfortable, it?s not a 5 star hotel by any means, but it?s clean, the staff is great, the location is great. We always stay at the Savoy when in Nelson.
For an extra $10 we could park in their lot, a big bonus during Nelson's busy car rally wkend. Hotel wis very comfortable with hot tub on roof and sauna inside. Staff friendly. Will stay there again.
Location was very good; close to everything. Bed was very comfortable and AC system was very quiet.

Cons -

Just an FYI, no elevators. So keep that in mind if mobility is an issue.
Hot water not available 1 morning. Rooftop hot tub was not filled or working. Room was too tight; no room for luggage unless you blocked the path around the bed. Had to call several times to get our towels changed, as daily cleaning was not operating.
There was a nightclub below us, which we heard, especially at 3:00 a.m. But, they'd warned us.

The new Savoy is spectacular. The location is ideal to explore the town and enjoy all that staff employee has to offer. The coffee shop, lounge and night club are top notch; great to have everything all under one roof. The guest rooms are spotless and modern.
