Set on 55 acres of countryside surrounded by mountains and the South Thompson River, this Kamloops hotel features mountain bike and hiking trails. Mountain, garden and river views are offered from rooms at this hotel. Free WiFi, parking and cable TV are included. The South Thompson Inn and Conference Center offers a seasonal outdoor pool and a year round 24 hr hot tub with a river view. Horseshoes, boccie ball and a outdoor fire pit provide entertainment options outdoors as well as a library indoor for relaxation. The South Thompson Inn is located 15 minutes from the city center, 40 minutes from the Kamloops Airport, 50 minutes to Paul Lake Provincial Park and is a 2 minute walk to Rivershore Estate and Golf Links.

Pros +
- Nice setting on the river.
- The staff was so kind, such a lovely location, and the room was so precious! Lovely views, everything was very clean and the pool was very nice!
- Room was nice bed was comfortable
Cons -
- Facility in poor condition in disrepair. Shrubs through the deck rails, cobwebs. Outlets so old that they would not hold the plug without falling out. AC system not functioning correctly. Significant amount of deferred maintenance long overdue.
- The only complaint is that the floors are very creaky, so not the best with a baby, but it's not really a complaint, just something to consider (maybe some rooms are carpeted). Also, would have been nice if the restaurant was open.
- They told us no guests were allowed in the evening and there was no restaurant. Do to the location it was hard to then get together with friends. I have never been in a hotel where I wasn't allowed visitors.
