Kluane Park Inn

The room was clean, there was a heating appliance inside the room.

The staff was not friendly or provided clear directions on breakfast, where to leave the keys, etc. The restaurant was close for breakfast the next day. The parking was a disaster area with ice all over the place and the pavement with holes.

Exceeded expectations. Very clean. Comfortable. Really good Chinese food for dinner on-site (not included). Hot breakfast included.Great way to start the day towards Whitehorse!

Easy access. Staff were very nice.

Had hairs in the bed sheets. There is no AC and the room fan was broken.

The basics are covered:good beds and good hot water from shower. No frills

Convenient on the road, pretty clean room somewhat updated, restaurant with the motel.

For some reason, didn't sleep worth beans. Bed and linen were uncomfortable. Food choices in restaurant mediocre at best. Wouldn't pick this motel again but front desk staff was friendly.

The hot shower. Room was clean and convenient with a fridge and microwave.

The bed was horrible! Like sleeping on cement. There was a loud drunk guy yelling profanities all through the night in the hotel. Nothing was done about it. The hotel staff did nothing. We didn't get any sleep at all.

The view of the mountains

Didn't feel safe, when I arrived I immediately encountered a drunk person. The hotel also has a liquor store, so people were in & out quite a bit. There's no ac in the rooms, but we couldn't open the window because of people smoking outside

Old everything. Poor quality toiletries. Had to get room from bar.

Nothing, it was filthy and in disrepair. TV and free Wifi was nice.

Room and bathroom were filthy. The inside of the microwave was disgustingly dirty. Power cords laying all over floor. Smoke detector was laying on top of microwave with no battery cover. Horrible place to stay. Shouldn't be on any travel websites.

It's in close proximity to Kluane National Park

The room was smaller than a walk-in closet, with the bathroom where only one person could barely turn. Breakfast was not included - with 6 out of 8 "restaurants" being closed, while the other 2 charging the top $! There was no Wi-Fi signal in the room!

Friendly staff, good food, good shower.

Rooms were dirty, the beds were rock hard, booked 2 rooms could only use one the other smelled so strong of cigarettes and pot that we couldn't even walk in the room. When we told the guy he said sorry you already paid, he offered another room, but it was on the other side of the lady chain smoking. So we all squeezed into 1 room. I got up every 2 hours to check on our vehicles to make sure no one broke into them.

I booked a room with 2 beds and got one bed and a futon.

It was renovated. We had a nice mountain view.

The shower was dirty, there were small pieces of a bar of soap broken up on the floor of the shower and hair in the shower. There were also hairs in the bed, some make up and dust/debris on the blanket.

The girl that checked us in was very nice. the mountain view was nice.

The room came with warnings not to plug certain things in at one time (fire hazard). There was a Domestic Violence situation in the room next to us maybe because of the access to the bar on the property. In the morning the owner acted as if she did not speak English because she did not want to ask us for money for our dogs (which we were of the understanding this was already in the rate we paid when we checked in). The owner insisted we "just go into the restaurant" and not leave. She made us breakfast without asking what we wanted. It was all very very very weird and uncomfortable. The description of the facility is also misleading, private balcony with mountain view was just the walk way outside the room that was connected to every room. The mountain view was beautiful though. Would I stay there again? Probably not.

Location was perfect, and the young man who checked us in and waited on us in the restaurant/bar was especially friendly and helpful. Additionally, the evening meal at the restaurant was great.

The room had no desk or table and the building was a little old and run down.

Excellent location, then again, Haines Junction is a tiny town. The property has an onsite restaurant that offers breakfast, which is a huge bonus for day hikers. The hosts are friendly and generous, offering the best Chinese food in town.
