The room was clean and comfortable.

I can never get Wifi to work at the Alcan and the TV could have used directions on using the two remotes. (Last time even a staff member could not get the WIFI to work on my computer. Don't know why???)

It was located next to a very good pub.

Strict dog rules, like them not being allowed on the bed. If you do and they have to do extra cleaning, they can charge more.

Great location and easy check in/check out. Plenty of space to park our land yacht.

I would have preferred longer/24-hours for the front office, but in lieu of that, I am grateful that the staff were able to accommodate my late arrival after the front office was closed. They provided instructions for me.It was convenient that the washing sink was separate from the bathroom.I liked that they extend the life of towels by offering the old tattered towels as rags. I was able to get some use out of them for cleaning my hiking shoes.

The lotion bottles were biodegradeable which is good, but the lotion itself contained paraffinum liquidum (mineral oil), which is not very biodegradable.

Nice restaurant with local beers available. I ordered To Go. Nice area to walk the dog.

Somebody else truck blocked my window view.

Nice, clean room with a beautiful view of the mountains. Room has a mini fridge and a Keurig with both tea and coffee (as a tea drinker, I really appreciate that). Good selection of channels on the cable.

WiFi was so weak that it was nonfunctional.

Quiet and clean roadside motel right on the Alaska Highway. Booking online was easy and the staff clearly checked my reservation and requests multiple times, as someone caught a slight miscommunication and replied to fix it shortly before our stay. They have considered the needs of travelers through the town with their check-in/check-out process. The bath and shower were great (including an extra deep tub) and there were several coffee pods and a coffee maker. My kids slept like rocks on the pull out sofa.

The bed was clean with plenty of pillows, but not the right support for my picky spine. I did get plenty of sleep, however.

Close to other businesses & traffic, which was helpful when there was a mama bear and cub nearby - we received a warning from a motorist. Clean & comfortable, but nothing fancy (we didn’t need fancy!).

This amenity should be removed from Booking.com website as the motel no longer provides a guest launderette 'A guest launderette and an ATM are available at Alcan Motor Inn – Haines Junction'. The motel website should remove reference to a laundromat too. There is a sign at the motel stating that they no longer provide the service and people needing a laundromat should go down the block to access services.

Clean and comfortable the View was excellent

No ac the only window wasn’t functional. Was way too hot. Was supposed to be a non smoking room but they had sand buckets on the porch by our room for smoking.

The motel is right off the highway and fairly close to gas stations, yet it still feels peaceful and quiet. The room we stayed in was very clean and the beds were pretty comfortable. There are some nice and clean patches of grass to walk your pets as well. Checkin and checkout was very easy since there is a key drop box for guests. The restaurant located in the same lot was very convenient to walk to and the burgers we ordered were so delicious. We highly recommend this lovely place to any travelers passing through the area!

Good place to stay this deep into the Yukon, 200 miles below Alaskan border. Interesting check in procedure, grabbing reserved keys from the box outside the office. Clean and comfy with the pup.

WOW! The room and mountain views exceeded my expectations!! Very clean room - and it was pet friendly. The "little things" matter, and this room did not disappoint. Comfortable beds, fluffy towels, plenty of soaps and other nice handy items. Loved having the nightlight in the washroom at night.
