Deerview Lodge & Cabins - Princeton BC

It was nice and quiet. Very convenient to the grocery store. It was clean and cozy.

Location was very convenient.

Can't commment on the Lodge however the Cabins are terrible. While mostly clean, our cabin's shower floor was so worn and tarnished we refused to use it, black mould in, the drinking glasses non functioning heating system, A lot of gall charging us $168.

How friendly and accommodating the person is.

How much cleaning that needs to be done. It will need updating as it is very old and needs upgrade.

Everything was very basic. It had a clean and a comfortable bed.

There is a bit of road noise but it didn’t affect us.

The staff were friendly and kind. Very good hospitality.

It was cold however I asked for heater and was good afterwards.

I was at the main lobby( no one there) to find no rooms available

Someone actually on site. No mice eating my muffins.Door shutting properly…….

The location is great. The room itself had plenty of space.

There is no insulation against noise, and every vehicle traveling past could be heard really loudly. The head of the shower is really low, which makes it hard to wash ones hair.

We rented this place for our travelling staff. They reported the following:1. They were checked into a different room from what we paid for (smaller). We paid for an apartment with 2 separate rooms, they were housed in a suite with 1 room.2. There was a rat in the room, it comes out every night.3. There was an ant nest in the suite4. There was a towel with dirty blood on it, as well as dirty crumbs under the bed.5. Dirty shower6. Dirty bed. (Our crew had to sleep on their sleeping pad on the floor in the room)7. They preferred to camp in the wood than stay at this hotel.We paid for 13 nights but the crew only stayed for 5 nights.We brought these concerns to the management and also requested refund for the 7-8 nights that the crew did not occupy the suite. The manager reports that the crew were lying (I'm not sure why our workers will lie about their stay) and that there was no rat, no ant nest or any of the complaint our crew made. He states that he will refund us if they were able to rent the suite. He reported back that they were able to rent the suite for 2 night during the period that we paid for. He gave every excuse in the book to counter our crew's report of the place. Very defensive.It's been over a month and we have not received any refund. We gave them the opportunity to make this right but they have chosen to be deceitful. We thought it's only fair to warn other people about this place and the management. I hope they can do better or be honest.

It is centrally located, easy on and off the highway.

It is very rundown and old. Needs a lot of upgrades and renovations. The place is so tired and well used and is evident everywhere you look.

I’m ok with an older building as long as it’s clean. This place was not clean.

It should have been a lot cleaner. It was booked for two adults and one child. There was one shampoo.

Clean but needs some attention. Water pouring into bathtub because tap wouldn’t shut off. It had been happening for so long the tub was stained from the water.

Very hard to sleep as the road noise was so much. No person on staff to allow us access.Couldn’t leave message as message box was full. Finally found a staff person cleaning. Then they asked for payment again as they had no record. Phone call to apologize for no staff still insisting for payment. Finally figured it out.

Co-worker of mine got his room for a hundred dollars less at the same amount of days stayed through Expedia.

The location was fine and close to all the commodities that Princeton offers.

The lock on room 104 needs repair, very difficult to lock and unlock.

They were friendly and helpful

The room are very run down , location is right on the highway( noisy) , it was cold we had to figure out how to get heat , you could see light around the door. To much to list.

the staff was soaccommodating for our 2 am check in, and even let us sleep in an extra hour. they saved our lives! nice kitchen as well if you were looking for a longer stay it would accommodate you well

Staff was friendly and helpful. The unit had everything we needed including a fridge, coffee maker and dishes. The bed was very comfortable. The unit was pretty quiet despite being right on the highway. It was easy to walk into town on the side roads.

The front outside was clean and tidy but the back which the unit overlooked could be cleaned up. None of this affected our stay.

Never again

I had to ask them to change the sheets as they were dirty. The bed was aweful uncomfortable and cheap.

Really nice helpful owners Still had a good nights sleep

A bit grubby, cigarette burn in the bed cover, no hairdryer, no one seems to have tea in the rooms?Very old furniture and very close to the road

stove / fridge,, thanks to Raymond for accommodating our request, to have stove and fridge, work out good, there were only 2 forks no spoons, stack it better 2 mugs only

towels looks like rags for the floor, shampoo and conditioner??? OMG! you could do better.The smell of the units are suffocating
