Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort

Staff is exceptional, best ever.

No ATM, one down the street at a gas station. No Business center No check cashing for guests I realize there is an 18% service upcharge and it is indicated on the receipt but it should be posted and mentioned while the bill is presented.

Location

The surprise resort fee of $-- per night. Nearly all of the close parking spaces are blocked off due to ongoing construction so guest have to park far from the hotel entrance.? a real joy under the rain. The hotel has no beach.

The service from the staff made you feel like you were at a 5 star hotel.

No beach, however just steps from the water and floating rafts made up for it!

Customer Service provided by hotel employees at the front desk, check-in. The amenities available and easy pool and beach access. As well as food options in the main lobby (restaurants and bar) and Concierge to assist with booking excursions.

Furniture in rooms are a lil outdated but they¿re going through renovations so that may change.

Everything about it was really, really good, service, staff and amenities were just right. The Staff was more then Perfect, very professional and caring, hope they stay there for a long time. Thanks

Staff were friendly and very attentive. Most everything is included in resort fee, snorkeling equipment, stand up paddle board, kayaks, banana ride and multiple swim platforms, jet ski rental, shuttle to downtown and 2 other beaches.

Ice machine was about as far away as it could get. Construction next door at Comfort Suites was noisy in am. Resort fee is pricey but you do get a lot for $$. Food is very expensive thru out the island.

Very good service especially at beach. Hotel employee was a great service provider there.

The layout is a little funny. They did not maximize ocean views, but hardly a complaint.

Location

The beach area is tiny and the pool is very small. For a hotel with these prices I was very disappointed in the pool and beach area. The room and the rest of the hotel were very nice.

Hidden fees (i.e. Hotel fee PLUS a resort fee, so there really isn't anything complimentary). Cleaning service was slow, not cleaned til late in afternoon , had to ask for towels and washcloths, sheets on bed weren't changed during entire week long stay.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was terrific and the beach was beautiful. The food at Veranda, the restaurants at the hotel, served excellent food.

There were so many things to do at the resort that were included...paddle boarding, snorkling, free go pro rentals, as well as different activities that would change day to day. The staff is amazing and so helpful!

The staff was excellent and very friendly. The restaurants were top notch.

Food and drinks were pricey and the beach was smalle than expected compared to the other resorts.

Welcome drink was nice and the staff was helpful. We used the snorkeling gear and the bikes to explore the city which was great. The tour people were great at setting up our travel.

There are no free drinks/food except at 1pm for a little snack and the welcome drink. Also, there is a $50 USD hotel fee each night which was a bit much for the little amount of things we got for this. No free breakfast either.

The overall decor of the hotel was great. Rooms were clean and well appointed. The mezzanine with the pool table was an added bonus. Also,the food at the poolside restaurant was very good.

The pool was rather simple though it was clean and a nice temperature.

The staff were not only professional, they were very friendly on a personal basis. They checked in frequently& made sure my stay was as pleasant as possible.

We were not informed that the beachside sport activities were closed early due to the season change. We were also disappointed that the parasailing company's boat was being serviced and we had to leave without parasailing.

Beach services were excellent. Beach was outstanding and has great snorkeling.

Anchor and Crate Restaurant had very poor service. Food was good, but an example was one dinner, they served us frozen butter with bread and steaks. Breakfast Buffet was very good, but again understaffed. This amy have been due to 40% occupancy.

Service was beyond excellent, staff was very helpful and always willing to help. This hotel exceeded our expectations. We are already planning our next trip with our kids and grandkids and won't stay anywhere else but the Marriott.

Great location, clean sheet and pillow, very friendly, professional and considerate staff. Amazing beach, white sands and plenty of marine animal near shore, complimentary GoPro from hotel for the day. Walking distance to most POA.

In general very clean room (especially the white sheet and pillow), but some yellow stains in the bathtub.

Beautiful beach location and great amenities. Snorkel gear and paddle boards included! Fabulous vacation spot!
